After being mis-diagnosed by an Audi dealership on what was causing a creaking noise, and being given a big quote for what they planned to try next, for the first time in many years, I went elsewhere…to First Class Garage. They carried out Audi’s suggestion, but for a way cheaper price. When that didn’t work, they became like a dog with a bone, and duly found and resolved the problem. They kept me advised, including on-ramp inspections and showing me replaced parts, and I was very happy with the resultant bill, which I’m sure didn’t fully cover the time they’d invested in the project. From now on, these guys are my go-to garage!

I had such a positive experience at First Class Garage. Gulam, the technician, and Fatima at reception were both incredibly reassuring and great to communicate with. I really felt they cared about saving me unnecessary costs and treating me with respect, which was such a breath of fresh air after some not-so-good experiences at other garages in the past. Gulam even took the time to show me the parts they replaced and gave me really helpful advice on how to look after my campervan between services. Their honesty, care and professionalism genuinely stood out. I wholeheartedly recommend this garage to everyone, but especially to women, because I felt safe, respected and well looked after. I’ll definitely be coming back for all future servicing, repairs and MOTs.

Honestly one of the most positive experiences I've had from a garage. Really nice family run business, they were able to accommodate me on short notice, were excellent at communicating exactly what the issues were and resolved it same day. As a female driver it can be difficult to find a garage that feels trust worthy at times, and I felt completely at ease and in good hands. The receptionist was also so lovely, warm and inviting. I know exactly where to come next time I have any issues. Thank you so much for your time!

1st Class Garage saved me from a really difficult situation when the clutch broke down upon my arrival to Brighton. When I phoned them the next day and explained my situation, the secretary and the technicians were incredibly understanding and responsive, sending out a couple of mechanics to assess what my car needed. They explained clearly what work needed to be done and when they realised that I couldn't drive the car to them, they sent me to a recovery service that transported my car at a very reasonable and affordable price. They then fixed the clutch that very afternoon which was incredible as I needed to drive back home on Monday! The car drove fantastically on my way back and the fix was a very reasonable price. I couldn't recommend them more as they were friendly, compassionate and responsive to a very stressful situation.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Booked my van in for a service and MOT on a Tuesday. Was called to say they couldn’t do it until Friday after I dropped it off. That was fine, but I’d left something in it, went to collect it to be told someone had taken my van out, no explanation as to why. Anyway Friday rolled around, another call to say it won’t be done until Monday. I collect the van on Monday and find the change missing, over a 1/4 tank of fuel gone and half a can of fosters left on the dash. Anyway I get home to then find the side of the vans been damaged! I called and was called back to say the technician had owned up to drinking fosters and they would look at CCTV for the damage. I hear nothing for days, I then speak yo someone and take it in, under much duress they agree to repair the damage the first week in January, it’s now March. I also found that the air filter had not been fitted correctly and that there was no oil in it! Avoid this place at all cost it’s been a nightmare!

Took my van in for an MOT. Got a phone call a couple of hours later saying that it passed and that they completed works to make it pass....They really should have called me asking if I wanted these works to take place, especially seen as I could have done this myself. The works cost £100 to fit a new headlamp and solder on a new headlamp plug...

Can’t really say on here exactly what I think of this place or it will be removed. All I can say to anyone considering using this place quite simply put……. Don’t. Overpriced and Dishonest. Parts replaced on my car without my consent with faulty secondhand parts that weren’t broken to begin with……… that’s just the start please trust me. Avoid at all costs.

I knew I had an issue with the vehicle so took it here. After a couple hours with them I get a call to say nothing is wrong. Charge me for labour and send me on my way. Baring in mind they knew I had a long journey , half way down the country. Only for the exact issue I complained about happen to me just shy of midnight in the middle of nowhere. So extra costs incurred with breakdown cover Etc. All because they couldn't be bothered to actually fix the issue. They even sent me back a report saying no issues found.. that gave the breakdown guys something to be angry about along with me. I WILL ADJUST THIS REVIEW IF YOU ORGANISE A REFUND FOR YOUR LABOUR WHICH CLEARLY WASNT USED WISELY...
