Visited recently and the staff were extremely helpful when I asked about gluten free food. They informed me that the chips were cooked in the same oil as gluten products so I wouldn’t be able to eat the chips. However, they offered to use fresh oil so that I was able to have the chips! They were so delicious and I was so pleased that they offered to do this. I had no gluten reaction which was perfect. The food was so delicious and allergy friendly!

Visited on Saturday 18th October. Parking isnt too good around the area, so had to drive around for 5 minutes to get a space and this was at 6:30pm. Place was very busy when we arrived but were seated quickly and staff were very friendly. We skipped the starters and i opted for the St Maarten which was a marinated Chicken Breast and some ribs. It came with salad and fries. My wife opted for the Vegetarian Fajitas which came with soft tortillas, salsa and salad, and my sister had the combination, which is steak and ribs. We had a side order of Coleslaw and the sauteed spicy garlic chips. The ribs fell off the bone and were tender and delicious as was the marinated Chicklen breast, which was moist and tasty. My wife said the sizzling fajitas were filling and cooked lovely as was the Steak which was tender and cooked lovely. The only gripe i had was with my spicy garlic chips which were a little soggy, not spicy and not too garlic flavoured, but that takes nothing away to the lovely food which was served and the service Toro offer. Didnt have room for a dessert as we were all full. the San Miguel lager was lovely and cold and went down a treat! Me and my wife will be back very soon, as the food was delicious and the staff are great. Dont miss the chance to come to this great restaurant.

This was my first visit to Toro Steakhouse, although many of my children have eaten here regularly. I visited Toro Steak House for a family 16th birthday diner; the establishment was very helpful too, in enabling the surprise set-up. What an amazing and satisfying experience I had here. The service was a little slow, but in their defence, every table over both floors was fully occupied. However, everything was worth the wait; the food was spectacular, cooked to perfection, super tasty, unbelievably tender, and all in adequate quantities! Highly recommended, and I will return. Sally Assistance hound was made welcome too thankfully.

Already busy at 6pm (although it was a Saturday so kind of to be expected) so there was already a nice atmosphere upon entry. No fuss in being directed to our table with a warm friendly greeting. The menu isn’t too extensive which is always a positive for me. Have enough choice but not bewildering so. The standout starter was the ribs. Great taste and just enough for a good portion but not too filling. The wings were ok but there are better out there. Steak time. We went for a 300 gram sirloin and the trio of steaks (small portion of fillet, sirloin and ribeye). The sirloin was tasty and cooked as ordered (rare) and the trio of steaks was bigger than expected and also cooked to perfection (medium rare). The sweet potato fries were very good as were the steak chips. The side order of mushrooms were the perfect accompaniment to our meal. We passed on dessert as we were already full. Very reasonable prices and the great staff just added to this as a recommendation from me. FYI there is limited parking on the high street so unless we missed the large carpark somewhere close it should be taken into account.

Had to wait for about 10 minutes to get our chips after the steak was put in front of us. I have had better rump at this place before. The piece was the shape of a large burger, with no fat on the edge whatsoever, hence the rather bland taste. The others that had ribs enjoyed them. Good prices and nice atmosphere.

1st time visitor for a birthday meal and the food did not disappoint. Hot and beautifully cooked steak (unlike Miller & Carter) and good value too. Will definitely be back.
