   I love this place because they have what you want in stock, before I telephone this place I was looking for fan belts for a 2002 L200, I called the mean Mitsuhashi dealer and they said it would take two to three weeks to get the part in, I then telephone going spare and they had the part I wanted in stock and on the shelf which was a life saver for me because I need the vehicle back on the road like yesterday.

   Popped in here today for some basics as we're parked in the nearby campsite. This is a proper traditional car parts store that seems to stock pretty much everything. A real Alladins Cave of parts. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent all round

   Tried to find a 100amp fuse for my daughters Hyundai I10 after a good Samaritan jump started her car which didn't go well, Direct Car Parts at the end of my road "not sold any of them mate" chocolate tea pot rings out. Halford didn't have them but the guy at the till says try GOING SPARE, thinking ok I'm going further from home it worth a punt. Have you got any of these showing the fuse, what size is he asked... 100amp I say, that'll be £3.99 he replied, I'll have 2 then as it's been a pain to find them. All because someone jumped the car and didn't leave the leads connected for about 10 mins to give the battery time to charge a bit. She then had an undriveable car it would only run with a charged battery nothing in the car worked no speedo either. Even RAC didn't solve problem... diagnosed faulty alternator. They got car home following morning, knowing the battery was dead put it on charge till next day (should have fully charged battery by then) when I was going to look at it. As many thing weren't working I did say to my daughter there has got to be blown fuses somewhere so checked all the big fuse and found the alternator fuse blown and because the main ECU was not getting any feedback from alternator it turns a lot of the electrics off to keep car running.

   I kindly asked for a mirror to replace my own mirror unfortunately they were driving so fast I couldn’t get a number. plate spare parts came and looked at the damage then ordered the part unfortunately when I picked up the part it was not the right part even though they had been shown the damage and now im out of pocket for £109 and my wing mirror is still broken don’t bother unless you know what you’re looking for don’t go

   Flat car battery at home. Had a call out straight away with jump start. Drove to the shop and tested battery, needed replacement so fitted straight away. Can't fault the customer service I have received over the years. Highly recommend.

   Needed a new rear number plate,spoke with Arthur,needed paperwork relating to car ownership which I didn't have on me so booked in to visit the shop again on Monday afternoon. Went in again on Monday afternoon,gave over the paperwork relating to my car and a form of ID, the number plate was done within minutes!!!!!! Great staff intervention .
