   Just had my MOT done… I have been going to tyre express for a great number of years dating back to when they were up school road. They are a professional team that have never let me or many friends and family members down.. sometimes my cars have been expensive on repairs, but that’s how cars are… highly recommended.. thanks to Martin , Sharon and the team

   Put my van in for an MOT, apparently it failed due to more welding which I Spent over £2000 on welding last year they told me that the welding they supposed to have done last year, should last two years, had it checked by another welder and It looks like no welding was actually done. Emailed them twice. No response. Also now my wipers not working so they’ve done damage to the van and refusing responsibility and liability by not even having the common courtesy to respond to an email. I’m extremely disappointed with this garage, especially after having a good relationship working with them with fleet vehicles clearly the standards have deteriorated. I recommend you do not use this garage The garage responded saying that there was corrosion. I took it to another garage and it’s proven that no welding was actually done last year so if they have evidence photographic or not, I would like to see that. Also, the van was returned with wipers would not turn off and the hazard lights will not turn off so electrically they have done something they should not have done it was working fine and can be proven to be a working fine before it was dropped off for his MOT

   Choose another MOT centre I'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this business. I struggle to find MOT centres for my size of van in Brighton and Hove and have had to settle with Tyre Express. I've had a couple of issues with them: Most recently, I handed my keys in for an MOT. The keys were in good condition with zero wear. After picking up my vehicle, I noticed the lock button had been completely destroyed - it no longer worked, and the button itself had been caved in. I reached out to Tyre Express, politely asking them to resolve the problem and replace the damage that was clearly caused at some point while in their possession (an easy and inexpensive fix). The manager refused and claimed it wasn’t caused while with Tyre Express. It was. Previously, I asked them to conduct an A/C recharge alongside a service. Upon collecting the vehicle, they told me everything had been sorted. However, as soon as I drove away, it was clear the A/C still only blew hot air. I opened the bonnet and saw dust still built up around the caps that should have been opened for the recharge. I went elsewhere to have the job done properly - this time, the A/C blew cold, and I could see that the caps had clearly been accessed and the dust was gone. All quite easy and minor issues to fix. It's a shame Martin couldn't accommodate them.

   Called and told I didn't need to set up an appointment. Went in my lunch hour. Waited only 5 mins for the mechanic to look at my tyres. Found the problem straight away and showed me. Offered several options on replacement tyres, all very reasonably priced. Fitted and balanced straight away. Really friendly service from everyone. Can't recommend enough. Would give more stars if I could.

   I have been using Tyre Express for quite a few years now covering three different cars. Consistently over this time, what stands out is honesty. It started when i had been quoted over £700 by another garage to repair a power steering problem and by chance it was suggested i try Tyre Express, who were then in Hove, by someone who sourced their tyres from them. Martin said that the problem didn't need that sort of solution and repaired the breakdown rather than replace it. The cost to me was £205. Ever since i have taken my cars to him. They don't find a list of items to get the car through an MOT. They do the work and recommend if necessary. They are a fair price and there is the added knowledge that you are receiving the best attention possible. I have saved a lot of money by using this garage. The only negative in this is that by being this good they are always busy and for regular servicing you need to pre-plan because if you leave it to the last minute you are not guaranteed to get an appointment within the next few days. Honest, effective, efficient and the best value for money i have found. Big thanks to Martin and the Mechanics!

   I took my car for a worn out locking nut, although they managed to take it out they charged me £100 , I was quoted in another place £20 with welding, so 5 times more expensive. Note that I tried to get a approximate price over the phone and they were not able to give me not even an approximate cost. I wonder why... If they told me it was going to be a £100 I would have taken it to another place.

   Absolutely agree with all the great reviews here and elsewhere. This is the best garage I've dealt with for years. A huge thanks to them for sorting out my aging campervan. Really lovely people, great service, and value. It's sad that you don't often hear this these days, but I really trust these guys. Top notch. And, as said, Sharon is a star. Thanks very much to indeed to everyone. Highly recommended.
