   I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend Madiera Garage. We have used them for several years and have generally been happy with the work they have done on our cars. Unfortunately the last two times we have felt taken advantage of. A few months ago they quoted my wife "around £120" to fix an issue with her indicator. When she went to collect the car they charged her nearly £600, did not acknowledge of explain why it was so much more than quoted and when she asked for clarification they were rude and condescending, and gave no further explanation than 'it was for parts'. I went again today for a service, when I booked the car they said it would be "between £210 and £230" and when I went to collect it was charged £310. I feel that this behaviour is dishonest and exploitative if not outright illegal and we will not be going back.

   can’t recommend these guys enough! such an easy and lovely experience. my car was leaking and I needed to drive home for christmas, no garages could fit me in but these guys made space for me despite their insanely busy schedule!! they did the most thorough check of my car anyone has done and fixed the problem and even sorted little jobs I couldn’t do myself. I feel so safe driving my car now which wasn’t the case before and what’s more everyone working was so kind and helpful, can’t thank these guys enough will definitely be back for any future work x

   Today was the first time I have used this Garage.I had a rear RHS ABS sensor issue on my Ford Kuga,which was correctly and efficiently diagnosed and replaced very swiftly. I had an update phone call whilst I was at work, confirming the diagnosis and the cost of the work to be carried out and whether I wanted to go ahead with it,which of course I did. The work was carried out from start to finish in a very professional Manor. And the price was reasonable too. I will definitely be using Madeira Garage again.
