   Wouldn't return here for a delivery, over promised and under delivered on a takeaway. Food ok for being cold and way past the estimated and variable arrival times. Feels like they take too many orders on to give a good service to.

   I ordered dinner, not a historical reenactment of the Silk Road. The food arrived two hours late, which gave me plenty of time to question my life choices, age visibly, and consider learning to cook. When it finally showed up, it was stone cold—impressively so. Not “needs reheating” cold, but “recently exhumed” cold. I assume the chef prepared it sometime around lunchtime and then let it reflect on its mistakes before sending it out. As for the taste… calling it “Chinese food” feels defamatory to an entire civilisation. Every dish somehow managed to be bland, greasy, and unpleasant at the same time—a culinary paradox. The textures ranged from soggy to rubbery, like a tasting menu designed by a dishwasher. This was, without exaggeration, the worst Chinese food I have ever experienced, and I’ve eaten mystery takeaways at 2am with zero expectations. At least those showed up warm. On the plus side, the experience was so bad it brought my household together in shared disappointment, so thank you for that. Sadly, I won’t be ordering again—unless I need a reminder that patience is not always rewarded.

   AVOID AVOID AVOID! Worst chinese restaurant ever, the food took 2 hours to be delivered, the person on the phone was rude and argumentative kept hanging up on me. The rider was also rude once he finally arrive. Then the actual food, ice cold and oily. Chicken curry was pure oil, egg fried rice had no egg??? And the chicken balls, how do you mess up frying chicken? This place is awful dont waste your money. Do not recommend stay far away

   Absolutely unacceptable service from Chef Beijing in Bedford. My delivery was over an hour late, with no proper update, no apology, and no respect for customers’ time. If you’re ordering when you’re hungry, be warned, you may be waiting far longer than promised with no explanation. Delays happen, but completely missing delivery times and failing to communicate is just poor service. This experience was frustrating from start to finish and has put me off ordering from here again. Food was below average too! The guy on the phone was infuriating

   The chicken and beef was reheated meat and smelled off. It was hard and chewy. Also I had a piece of chicken that was partly black, see picture Absolutely disgusting how this take away thinks it can get away with this poor level of food .

   Food is nice but the service was useless. 2 hours late, the rude guy on the phone lied about the time and had zero people skills. The driver turned up in her pj's and just chucked the food at us. No apology. Brown prawn crackers, freezing chips. Uber eats were just as useless. Cancelled our account with them and won't bother with this joke of a shop next time.

   I ordered food for my family and got mixed vegetable noodles for a vegetarian. When it arrived it had chicken in. When I rang to explain what happened, the man said 'just pick out the chicken' and 'what do you want me to do about it?'. He ended the call by telling us not to order again and he didn't need our custom - well that's a shame because apart from the terrible food and horrendous customer service it was a good experience.

   £30 for 2 people (too much), took two and a half hours to arrive, staff were rude, order was wrong and insanely spicy. They must have leveraged the power of the gods to mess it up this badly, never again.

   This is hands down the worst takeaway I have ordered in my life. Firstly it took them 2 hours to deliver the food. When the resturant was called they said it was on the way (very rudely I might add), 30 minutes later no food. The food itself was unedible. I would seriously question if the cheff has ever cooked before. Chow mein noodles were drenched in oil, you seriously could not eat them. Rice dish had a weird smell like the rice had gone off and was very watery like a rice soup ( this is meant to be a fried rice dish). I feel like I want to vomit just thinking about it. I ordered this through ubereats where the reviews seemed OK, only to come to Google to see the truth. This placed should seriously be shut down and is a shame to chinese restuarants. Whoever the owners are, you need to seriously have a long hard think about the food quality and service you put out there.

   Don't touch with a barge pole. They take orders knowing that they're not going to deliver them. Waited two hours, was told they'd ring the driver and call back. They didn't call back. 3 hours later the food still isn't here. Went on Just Eat to leave a review and found literally a dozen other reviews today, starting at 4pm for people that had ordered food from them that hadn't been delivered.
