   We've been ordering food from here for many years and always find it to be fantastic. Both the fish and chips and Chinese dishes are equally as delicious. Excellent family run business, quick service, large portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

   Ordered from here based off the reviews, rating it as the best chinese in bedford and also claims that the food was consistently of a high standard. However for me the food was awful mainly the heavy use of MSG. The saltiness in the food led to me binning it as you couldn't eat it. Adding insult to my thirsty mouth- the lady behind the counter overcharged me by £2 for the privilege of this poor quality food.

   Each to their own. So try it for your self . I didn’t like the egg fried rice but that doesn’t mean someone else won’t. Looking at some of the reviews about the place, they are positive. The big thing for me was the service I received from the woman. I’d say she was mature with short hair. Lol the way she looked at me whilst serving me, like I’m some peasant haha. I won’t write off the place as they might have other workers who are more welcoming.

   Sadly I didn’t not enjoy the food at all, or the confrontation from staff when requesting a refund. Normally I’m happy to let the odd dish slide if I didn’t like it, however multiple items tasted bland and where thoroughly unenjoyable. I was told to return to the store for a refund, where the staff argued with me over dishes. Sadly, where a simple refund and apology to a customer would have resolved the issue; turned into an argument over food quality. Judging by some of the confrontational replies to other guests who did not enjoy the food, I expect no improvement to this customer service. Would recommend to avoid.

   From the outside it certainly doesn’t look anything special but this is a brilliant takeaway. The quality of food is superb at good prices for the large portion sizes. It’s clearly a family run business and everyone working was friendly and welcoming. There’s a small amount of seating available while you wait but also a number of shops right outside. There’s plenty of space in the nearby car park too. There’s no delivery offered but it’s totally worth the journey to visit and pick up. The prawn toast was a particular delight, although serving it in smaller slices might be good! Brilliant place and without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway in the town!
