Great Chinese and Thai food at very reasonable prices. Set in the Cranfield football social club, do not expect fancy stuff ! But the owner Uncle Lim gives personal service and the food is out of this world !
Chose this place because we had a bad experience with the Golden House and overall quite disappointed. Prawn Toast was dry and texture resembled cardboard Sweet and Sour sauce tasted very much like vinegar and very runny in consistency. Really struggling to find a decent Chinese restaurant! If this is a 4.5 / 5.0, it doesn’t say much about the rest.
As long as you can accept that you’re sitting at a table in a football social club, you will love it! As you would expect, the beer is superb and the service and banter excellent; the food is truly exceptional and fantastic value. I’ve now eaten here a couple of times and will keep coming back.

I usually travel to Newport Pagnell to my favourite Chinese takeaway, but I thought I'd try my local one for the first time. The food tasted nice but the sweet and sour sauce was a bit watery and the chow mein was lacking salt. Overall it was a nice takeaway.
Uncle lim's is the best Chinese food for miles, and I've tried lots of them! Been using him for the last 10 + years and never had a bad meal. Always delicious and generous portions. If you have to wait a few minutes at times its because he is so popular. A very nice family run restaurant. Everywhere else is second best in my view.
