My first meal was a small version of the King Prawn with black bean sauce and rice (£8). When I ordered at the van I was offered chilli sauce with this dish. I was able to sit and wait for the food at an adjacent table. When the food was ready, one of the guys brought it over with a plastic fork and a paper napkin. The tables are all uncovered with a view of the entrance to the market area. My dish was served in an aluminium container (good for recycling). There was a decent portion of firm, deveined prawns and a rich sauce with chunky pepper and onion, served with fresh white rice. Lovely food at a good price. Also a good location to eat if you enjoy people-watching, as you're likely to spot friends passing by soon after you sit down.
Chicken with Pineapple had after taste. Chicken with Beansprouts tasted like beansprouts with Chicken. Beef in black bean sauce was okay.
I have eaten around the UK and have tried quite a many Chinese takeaways having worked with Just Eat, the food here is definitely in top 10. Generous portions, gravy was tasty and the food is freshly cooked as well. Pork black bean sauce is fresh unlike some other takeaways where it's chewy and you know its leftovers being cooked again. Special chow mein was good, my kid loved it. Love the unique chili sauce added as well! Price is very reasonable as well. Recommended!
Literally the best Chinese food in town!! Great service from the family run local business. Me, my friends and family love going here and it is our go to spot when we want any comfort food. If you want an affordable and tasty meal, you are in good hands here :)
Absolutely amazing and tasty food .. lovley people and service. I would highly recommend eating here. The spicey Rice was flavoursome and the chilli sauce was the best!!
One of the worst Chinese takeaways had in life. Ordered two chicken chow mein and two chicken fried rice. They charged £8 for a large plate. None of the plates had pieces of chicken. Just plain rice and noodles. Fraud and disgusting. This message is for owner. When you cook food And serve, you are representing your culture/family/country and experience. By doing such fraud deeds you are tarnishing not only the food but all of the above. You should feel shameful
I remember I used to come and get spicy king prawn chow mein every week when I was a kid in 2008… my first time trying the same thing again today in 14 years, the taste, portion size, flavour and love that went into the food was the same. Lovely to see uncle Mike still there and the fact that nothing has changed about the food makes me so happy. Will hands down say I have tried so many oriental places in Milton Keynes but by far still the best
I love the food here, I go all the time! My favourite is the special fried rice and also the sweet and sour chicken, make sure you get it with chilli! It’s their secret family recipe and the nicest thing you’ll ever try! The family that run it are so lovely and friendly!
