   ABSOLUTELY AVOID!! Ordered Via Just eat at half past 5 (£6,99 delivery charge btw) After the first hour of waiting I attempted to call the restaurant, no one answered, Google also showed them as closed, however on just eat open? Confusing. I then attempted to chase via just eat, useless, They just kept saying to call the restaurant, great.. another 3 attempts nothing, so I took the decision to order from somewhere else as by now it was 8.30 ( 3 hours after I had ordered) so I informed just eat that I will be cancelling, placed order for my food with a different restaurant, literally 15mins later a guy rocks up at my door now 3 and a half hours after I ordered trying to get me to take in the Chinese I had ordered at half past 5, did they have to travel to China to get it? Just eat are now refusing refund as it shows as delivered... appalling customer service, before leaving this review I have attempted to call old China again before hand to see if this will get resolved, but once again, no answer, phone doesnt even ring, so at this point I know I will have to cut my losses, but atleast hopefully people will see this and think twice before ordering, They have 2 stars for a reason, avoid, avoid, avoid.

   Extremely disappointing. The food was completely inedible — the dumplings were hard, and the soup was thin, bland, and had an unpleasant smell. I couldn’t eat more than the first bite before throwing it away. It honestly felt like no effort or quality control went into this meal. Total waste of money. I won’t be ordering from here again

   Had used Old China successfully for very small orders in the past. Decided to order on 9th August 25. Ordered over the phone and when confirmed they asked how we were paying - we asked why it mattered and after a pause they said the card machine wasn’t working. We became uneasy due to the tone and th fact they had asked us how we were going to pay in the first place…and so asked to cancel the order - only then to be told that the card machine may indeed work. We confirmed our order cancellation and ordered at our usual outlet.

   Ordered a chicken chow mein. NEVER again! This ‘meal’ was returned to Old China. A very rude woman on the phone Saturday 29/9/23. The chicken pieces pictured were rock solid slithers of meat. Literally dried up like they were 3 days old and that was after they came out the noodle box! I have a video of them making the sound of a rock hitting the deck when dropped on the plate and one of my cat trying so hard to eat one I thought she would break her teeth! Called up to arrange a return and another. Customer service was abysmal. No goodbye, just hung up on me after being rude. £6.50 for dried up scraps and some very dry noodles bulked out by huge chunks of onion. Never again.

   We ordered here for first time, turned up an hour late, forgot some of our food, rice is bland, dry and chewy, chips were cold, only good thing was prawn crackers, won't ever use this again HEADS UP IF YOUR THINKING OF BUYING THIS DON'T ITS NOT WORTH IT

   Don't bother! Miserable young women behind the counter. No up to date menu available. Food bland and not hot, very small percentage of the main ingredients in the chow mein vegetables undercooked especially carrots. All very disappointing, when this takeaway first opened it was really excellent but now it is a poor imitation of what it was. We certainly won't be using it again.

   Where do I start. Firstly, I pre-booked an order at 2:30, for 6:00pm. It was over an hour late. The had to call 3 times, and spoke to the same unhelpful women on the phone 3 different times, telling me that my order was 5 minutes away. Then the driver did not have a clue where he was going, and by the time he got to my door the food was stone cold. Finally after all that hassle. I dished all the dinner up and was ready to eat, I cut into my chicken wings, to find it pink, RAW. My partners sweet and sour chicken balls were also raw. I called them back up to make a complaint and find a way to resolve the issue. The lady on the phone was rude, but worst of all. Tried to tell me that the pinkness in the chicken was safe to eat and that’s how they cook it. Absolutely bonkers. Ended up getting a refund after a whole argument about the order. Please stay away, waste of your time and money, let alone your health.
