Port Talbot Parkway station is a bit, well, utilitarian (ie functional but grim), but this coffee shop is fabulous with excellent coffee, cakes, good service, comfy chairs and great views of the railway track and the cold, grey corridors of the station.
Great little coffee shop! Lovely coffee and chai latte with plant milk options including soy, oat and coconut. There’s an exceptionally wide variety of vegan food options that puts Starbucks and Costa to shame (see my photos). The decor is chic while also cosy and comfortable. I’d happily spend an hour or so enjoying the view, the coffee and a cake even if I wasn’t catching a train!
I've called in a handful of times to buy refreshments since Work of Art opened and each time had the most lovely customer service. Personable and friendly. What was particularly special is I called in on my way to a trip a couple of months ago needing milk to mix with a protein shake kind of thing. They helped me open the sachet and asked which milk I'd prefer and let me free pour it in. I had no judgement from them for my (let's face it) strange request. I said that I would accept whatever they felt was fair to charge me, be it a coffee amount of what have you. They responded in kind (and very kindly). I want to extend genuine thanks to this person. Keep doing what you're doing! I would say this is well worth a stop before a journey. The view is spectacular and the environment is clean and spacious.

Only recently last two months using the coffee shop. The coffee and snacks are delicious . The service I have received everytime I have gone has been fantastic and efficient. A special mention to the very kind young lady with short bobbed brown hair. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name. You have served me several times and even when I was stressed one day with work you were a welcome friendly kind face that listened to me have a moan and really cheered me up ! Thank you for your patience and time . Your a star !!
Wonderful new coffee shop in the station. Great coffee and oat, soy, coconut etc available at no extra cost. Various pastries including vegan croissants and very reasonable pricing. Clean comfortable and lovely staff.
