   Absolutely poor service from Maesteg Aldi. If you are going to have self scan then make sure there are staff available. I didn’t expect to have to shout across to a till person to get assistance, and to get a huff from the staff member who had to come to assist making me feel terrible. She didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t apologise for keeping me waiting, didn’t make eye contact. Embarrassing and shameful service. I’ve worked in retail for over 20 years and would never behave like this. I know Christmas is extra stressful but why at such a busy time would you not have someone permanently on self scan to assist. I’ll stick to Tesco in future, guaranteed good service!

   Subjected to scam in foyer a man supposedly giving back to society whilst supporting elitism and no level playing field for all human beings. Outwardly political and hypercritical when he is taking a wage from the so called good cause. Be warned good hearted shoppers. The manager has been notified. Macmillan nurses do an amazing job and should be paid a decent wage to reflect the work they do and not rely on handouts from struggling working Class people during a cost of living crisis.
