We attended the Sanra breakfast today and had a fantastic time. The team was very friendly, in a lovely setting. Food was delicious as always and our granddaughter loved meeting Santa and the snowball fight with Bluey. Thank you so much. Looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing asked them for a miners eggs benedict which is the royal but instead of Salmon I wanted black pudding and they absolutely smashed it in a positive term! Polite staff, perfectly cooked black pudding and eggs and hollandaise sauce makes your ears shake :) Definitely will be back... ohh and the atmosphere and interior design of the cafe is very pleasant and comfy!
2nd time visiting, unfortunately my initial impression has only been worsened. Ordered a takeaway iced latte, not too sure what we even received. Looks like an instant coffee that hasn’t been stirred. We arrived at the shop 45 mins before closing so felt very immediately the negative reception from staff who took around 3-4 minutes to come to front of house to serve us, seems we were just fobbed off as easy as possible. See photos for the drink we paid £3+ for to pour down the drain. I’m pretty sure the cappucino we ordered is also instant as I did not see or hear any use of a coffee machine. I always thought petrol station coffee was bad but that now seems like the pinnacle of luxury coffee compared to this. I always want to support small businesses, but there’s a reason we are driven to the big boys who always deliver consistently. Cwtch corner need to do better.
Attended a Christmas cream tea with a superb elf and a super funny Santa. Food, service and the atmosphere were spot on. I have 2 teens and traditionally, we always have a Christmas event and they both loved it. Suitable for all ages, even us 'oldies'..
Looking to move to Wales and came across Cwtch Corner. What a brilliant place. Loved everything, such friendly& helpful staff. Bought a few of the craft items for sale. Thrilled with our experience. Hopefully this may become our 'local'.
Cwtch Corner provided the graze table buffet for my daughters 30th birthday last night (28 th January) which we had at The Overdraft in Clydach, the buffet was amazing everyone commented how lovely rhe food was and it was all set out ready at the venue when I got there and the table.looked beautiful and the lady was so helpful. I thought the quality and price of the food was reasonable and would highly recommend we were all very pleased
We just had a lovely meal there. Two adults, two children. Excellent value and quality. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They even fitted us in to see the magical Santa in his lovely grotto.
Lovely little cafe, very friendly. Great place to stop for refreshment if you're walking along the canal path. We sat in the outside area with our dog, who loved the sausages we were able to order for him.
Took my boy here for lunch today. The track & trace via NHS app was super easy with the QR code on display and hand sanitiser on tap, with distanced seating - I felt Covid safe! ;) The decor and atmosphere were nice and cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the food was great! My son enjoyed the kids sandwich with crisps and a side of deliciously chunky chips. I had the tasty vegan curry - healthy and good for the environment! ;) And don't forget the drinks. I had a lovely pot of tea and my boy had the deluxe hot chocolate, which he thoroughly enjoyed! ;) All in all, 2 very satisfied customers - I'll be going back! :)
