As a nervous patient, Miriam and all members of the practice are friendly and welcoming. I feel at ease visiting the dentist for the first time in many years.
One of the receptionists is the most unpleasant unprofessional member of an otherwise excellent team. She messed up my husband and I’s appointment times and despite realising her mistake, didn’t apologise till after I had pointed out to her that we would now be required to wait for an hour between appointment times. She created the most unwelcoming atmosphere in the waiting room. She offered no assistance to someone who was struggling to complete the medical form. She literally shouts at people who push the locked door, assuming it to be open. I will be making a formal complaint and won’t be returning, despite the dentist and hygienist doing excellent work. She is like this on every occasion. She does not represent your business well.
I have always had a good experience at this dentist, however, each time I call to book an appointment I am on hold for at least 45 minutes if not longer. I can’t really believe that I am caller number 2 in the queue (as the automation says), and yet still I am holding for that amount of time. I tried to book online but the option I was looking for wasn’t there so I had no choice but to call. The hold music is also truly terrible and monotonous for that amount of time on hold.
Nicole is so lovely she’s the best dentist she makes me feel very calm and reassured. But unfortunately a new lady at the reception is a little bit rude - the front door was locked and I didn’t know you had to use the bell to be let in, when she got up to let me in I saw her roll her eyes which made me feel quite unwelcome and this is not professional at all. The other receptionist with the fringe is lovely though!
I have been with this practice for over 20 years through its iterations. Today, I managed to get a same-day appointment for a chipped tooth and couldn't be happier with the way it was handled. I trust Diego implicitly. He and his assistant were so accommodating and kind and did a first-class job. Thank you so much!
Great experience in general. Friendly receptionist, nice dentist and nurse. Explained everything clearly and teeth cleaning carried out without any pain. I can be quite anxious when visiting the dentist, because of bad experiences growing up. I was very happy with this experience. Back for another check up in 9 months. Thank you ☺️
A very nice welcome. The receptionist and dentist were very polite, professional and understanding. The dentist was very thorough with my examination and very kind knowing I'm scared of the dentist.
I’ve been with this practice since a child and it has always been good, however the last time I visited I’ve never been so disappointed in the way I was treated. Firstly, they overcharged me, (I had to pay again for treatment which I had paid for previously). They said that this was because I had left my last appointment without making a new appointment, which is true, but only because all of the staff (apart from the dentist) had by then gone as it was an early evening appointment. I explained that I had tried calling the practice multiple times and leaving answering machine messages to make the appointment, but there was never a response. Also, my family tried to make an appointment in person, but got turned away saying that appointments could only be arranged on the phone only, which was still working to covid guidelines quite late on, therefore only patients would be allowed into the practice. I persevered with phoning and eventually was able to speak to the receptionist to book an appointment but she would have it no other way than that I would have to repay. After having a little bit of a debate over the price, I decided to just pay so I can just get the treatment out the way. The only alternative offered by her was that I wouldn’t get another appointment for a few months and I would have to put in a complaint. The dentist seemed to be ok, unlike the rude receptionists. However, the tooth that they worked on has caused me pain since visiting and yesterday a large amount of my tooth broke off. I would stay clear of this place, Things have changed there a lot and I am thankful for my new dentist.
Nicola is a fantastic dentist. Excellent clear communication, always makes you feel comfortable and at at ease. Wonderful advice and help about looking after your teeth and gums at home too!
