   After going to see Mo for an emergency appointment last year, I decided to register as a patient with him. His demeanour is very calm and kind. Following his advice, and subsequent treatment I have ended up with a smile I no longer have to hide. In fact I can’t stop smiling now.

   This was my first time going to this dental clinic. I saw Mo for a routine check up and he seemed really nice, was happy to explain treatments in detail and his nurse was lovely too. And the receptionists that I've dealt with are very pleasant and friendly. So far, I would happily recommend Ferring Dental Clinic.

   I needed some work done on my teeth and Mo was great in explaining what needed to be done and the costs involved and he was able to fit me in later that morning to carry out the work. I can highly recommend Ferring Dental Clinic. The staff were very friendly too in reception. I can’t fault the service.

   Visit to Jane, the hygienist. Great service as ever, Reception very polite and efficient. However I came away a little disappointed really. They have introduced a system of paying £30 deposit as an advance payment for the next appointment. This is as a result of a minority of people not turning up for their appointment ( I personally have never missed one in 10 years of going there! ) so I can kind of understand why they have done this, but I think they are going about it the wrong way. I feel like I am being punished now for the failure of others and effectively, if I stay with this practice, they will be holding £30 of my money infinitum effectively. I know it is only £30 but I am not sure I am comfortable with this being applied to my account when I am a reliable and loyal patient who turns up on time everytime! I think they should review this and make more of an effort to target the patients who do ruin in for everyone else. Surely it cannot be difficult to put a marker against the offenders and simply insist they pay a deposit in advance rather than a blanket policy of tarring everyone with the same brush. I could definitely sense that the lovely receptionist is very uncomfortable asking for this additonal payment! I know I should have pushed back at the time when they took this payment but you don't always process it fully at the time. However two days later I am still thinking about it! Perhaps time to look elsewhere if this is how I am valued by them? Shame really as it is a nice Practice overall but they haven't thought this one through properly in my opinion and are in danger of alienating their core client base, due to what must be a problem with only a minority of patients?

   I was in need of a new dentist after mine left their practice and wasn’t happy with the replacement, then covid hit and during which I broke two teeth. After some review searching I decided to try Ferring dental and I am glad I did, as a nervous patient I have found them friendly, patient and accommodating. Good information and choices were given and effort during work to make sure it was pain free. Appointment reminders are excellent as are efforts if changes required. I am very pleased with my choice and can highly recommend them.

   I had a very bad experience in the past with a dental hygienist but I have been pleasantly surprised by my visits to Emma, both at East Preston and Ferring clinics. She was helpful and understanding and put me as much at ease as was possible. Also the Ferring clinic went out of their way to accommodate my wish to have the air flow method of treatment, which I find quicker and better than any other. I have always found the staff friendly and professional.
