Large furniture charity shop in Great Yarmouth, I understand hearts ♥️ are expensive and so is some of the furniture especially considering it’s preloved. Best deals are the clearance items! Staff welcoming and friendly. I find BHF is the most expensive when compared with all other charity stores!

Went here back in April for some fruntrue and was very surprised at the quality, also excellent service and quick delivery.

The Great Yarmouth furniture store are rude time-wasters. I saved a piece of furniture back from a garage clearance I had earlier in the week as I had seen this sort of furniture in BHF shops in the past. it was refused by the rude driver because it was 'old' (Mid century, similar items sold for over £100 on ebay). I especially wanted BHF to have it, as there is some value there. There is nothing on the central website about furniture being refused because of style or age, only condition. It is really stressful clearing out after the death of a loved one, and this really hasn't helped! I found this really distressing, and certainly won't be dealing with this branch again.

The BHF was very dear to my Dad's heart. He left them money in his will and donated to them monthly. It was the obvious choice to donate his furniture when he passed away recently and we were clearing his house. I live 20 miles away but arrived incredibly early on collection day as I preferred a morning collection. I had a garage full of mainly white bedroom furniture including wardrobes, lockers, chests of drawers, and a dressing table. The van turned up just before 12 noon and was already crammed full with items. As soon as I opened the garage I was met with a very dismissive ''I can't take it, its too old and it is chipboard'. Very strange as most of it was under dustsheets. Like most things, some of the items had a board backing but were perfectly saleable, and I've seen plenty of similar items in BHF shops. Some with sold stickers on. The dismissive chap rudely announced 'People won't buy it and it will cost the charity money getting rid of it'. I moved back one of the dustsheets revealing a dressing table and asked what was wrong with it. His answer astounded me when he said 'It will probably only get about £30'. What???? £30 is £30. He finally condescended to take a couple of bedside lockers and a lovely ornate metal and glass half circle table that I could have delivered by car. It was an utter waste of my time and I would NEVER even consider donating furniture to the BHF again.

We visited here looking for furniture, the shop did not disappoint. The shop is packed with good quality second hand furniture of all types. So much choice we were spoilt. We purchased a suite (2 x sofas and a chair) an oak TV stand and an oak bed and mattress. All the items were reasonably priced. The gentleman who served us was friendly and helpful. We paid £20 delivery and the furniture arrived with us at 7am the next day. Excellent customer service. I would shop here again and highly recommend it.

Used to be a great place to find good value retro & vintage furniture. Now just over-priced & dull. Staff need to try smiling - it's actually legal & won't kill them!

BHF is a charity very close to my heart. Used it several times to donate unwanted furniture, bric a brac, good clean clothes (they send them to the regular stores) electrical goods - yes they accept electrical goods and have their own PAT tester. We’ve donated lounge and dining furniture which they happily collect with a smile (as long as the appropriate safety signs are still in situ) Some of the reviews state it’s expensive which compared to the quality of some of the things donated it is not. Add gift aid to it so all goes a long way to support this excellent charity. The staff are fantastic and do a great job, well recommended.

Occasionally you can get a real gem of an item at a great price. Some things are rather expensive for what they are (£40 for ONE bedside table?!). Some of the staff are very polite, but many really haven't a clue on customer service! The 'one-way' system is also ridiculous - you won't get the plague!

Not only they charge £20 when normal delivery rates are £6 as they don't turn up when arranged and then when we try to rearrange the delivery the try want to charge the deliver again. £40 for delivery is abusive. The manager was horrendous dealing with it. The worst customer experience I had.
