Best place I’ve been to get my nails done in Brighton. Lovely women, keen to have a natter and really took care with each step of the process. And SO affordable, I’ve paid double elsewhere so I can go more often now. Highly recommend, thanks Kate and Tracy!

Absolutely awful! Avoid at all costs! My nail was drilled into and when I spoke up, I was accused of exaggerating. The owner refused to apologize, insisting they’ve been doing this for years and that I was overreacting. If you’re okay with a manicure that looks like the pictures, that’s your choice - but it’s not just unprofessional, it’s downright terrible. I went to Tania. PS. I just noticed another hole on the surface of my ring finger nail. Two deep holes in total. I’m honestly in shock. My friends are, too. Tania was literally drilling my cuticle at the expense of my nail. What she offered is to cover it with the nail polish. PSS - what’s Tania has done - she removed cuticles with the electric cuticle drill bit together with the top surface of my nails. It really hurts now all day long as if I had a bad dental pain but in my nails, and they are thin and bendy. Shocking service. Dear Tracy and Tania, the cuticles are gently pushed back at the beginning to avoid removing them while damaging the nail surface! Basics!
Jagwa is such a affordable and lovely salon . Love supporting my local to get my nails done . Will be back soon !
The lady’s at this salon were really nice, however i was not satisfied with how my nails turned out, i had an issue with the way the false nail was placed on my finger as it was stuck on wonky and it wasn’t on my nail properly and i expressed my concerns about this and was told it would look better once the nails were done, however it did not and i left with a nail that was lifting up slightly from the side because it wasn’t stuck on properly. The nail polish they used didn’t have enough pigment so it looked quite streaky and the colour wasn’t very pigmented. The glue she used to stick my nails on got stuck underneath my acrylic nails and hardened so it left a lump of glue under my nails. The nails lasted 2 weeks which i’m not sure if it’s worth paying £40 for, i wouldn’t return because i think it’s pricey for what it is.

Amazing service today by 2 beautiful ladies in the shop. I had hair and make-up within 1hr 15mins, they both took the time to make pretty and Wedding ready. Such a nice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and they even have a residence dog which made my day. Highly recommend this shop.
Fantastic service at Jagwa. Tracy very kindly opened early for me so I could get hair cut and style, make up and nails done all in time for an early event. She and her daughter were fantastically efficient and I was so happy with the results in all respects.
