The beer is well kept and served, there can be no complaints. . I just wish they would sell craft ale that I really go for. Cosy, old fashioned pub.

I grew up in Neath and I feel like an foreigner in this pub, staff are not nice and they have a power trip over the karaoke machine, they let the ones they like sing multiple songs, otherwise you are waiting hours to go on. Worst karaoke setup ever.

Despite showing a “can’t wait” card for use of toilets, a foreign worker still refused me on the condition “I need to buy a drink first” which has caused me to start soiling myself in the middle of the pub. In my few years of holding this card, it’s the first time someone has ignorantly refuse me access despite the promise of purchasing something after facility use. I wish you will train your staff in the future to hold a certain level of dignity and respect for those with these sort of cards.

Popped in last night. The clientele was a mix of ages with karaoke on the go and some enthusiastic singers. Doombar was nice and smooth. Would definitely go again.
