A visit was made to Dyffryn Arms for Sunday lunch. The menu allowed 2 or 3 courses for a set price. We opted for 2 courses, Main and dessert. The Sunday roast was excellent and just the right amount. The desserts were excellent and the berry crumble with custard was my personal favourite. Would highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The food was very good, cooked well with plenty of flavour. I had the chicken breast stuffed with black pudding with the whiskey sauce and my wife had the prawn linguini, which had a bit of spice but not too hot. The portion sizes were spot on. Looking forward to going there again.

What an experience, my partner and I were out for date night and were recommended here for great food. We arrived promptly for our booking and were quickly seated. All within the space of 10 minutes we'd been seated, had our drinks ordered and served, Now that's fantastic service. We started our evening with some starters, of which I ordered the cajun chicken stripes. Now I was a little surprised when they arrived as they didd, not a chicken strip I've ever seen done like that before, but the flavour was good and the accompaniments were lovely. Moving to the main, I went for the lasagna, a dish I use to judge a restaurant and I wasn't dissapointed. It was very evident that it was freshly served from the in house cooked batch,a nice change from single serve microwaved lasagna that most places serve. Well layered and deceptively dense. I almost couldn't finish it, the cheesy garlic bread on the side was the cherry ontop. Perfectly measured with the garlic and cheese, and toasted just right. I can't finish off without mentioned the wonderful staff here, they were very attentive and polite. Well presented and courteous. Will be back again soon

Four of us ordered the Sunday Lunch -2 course for Β£20. Absolutely loved the Yorkshire and Beef but the veg wasn’t enough for four so asked for more. The first lot of veg wasn’t as warm as the second lot. Other than that, absolutely delicious. Enjoyed the heat from the log fire which was regularly checked. Inside was very clean, comfortable and warm! Our desert was absolutely lovely! Food was waiter serviced. Booking is recommended for Sunday lunch. Large car-park on arrival. Bar staff was very helpful and polite. If the veg was hotter and more plenty full I would have given a 5star!

Came here for my birthday meal, lovely food as always .. didn't take a picture of the cheesey garlic bread but yummy would definitely recommended as well as everything else. The soup needed a touch more salt but it's just preference. Good quick service. Lovely atmosphere.

Absolutely loved it here. Lovely pub with the homely feel. Food was incredible and highly recommended, it was tasty, fresh and the portions were just right. To top it off, they had proper chips....lush! Highly recommended

Nicest place in the area in my opinion. It's not cheap (about Β£15 for a burger with chips&coleslaw, at the time of writing). The food is usually great, but it was slightly rushed last time I went, leaving me a little disappointed, hence only 4 stars.

Food was lovely, just a bit pricey,Β£14 for a duck salad, which was more like the size of a starter, was a bit shocking
