It's OK. My beer was a little "tangy" and I didn't finish it.

We ordered the fish and chips, which came out burnt and without the tartare sauce mentioned in the menu. Also the cleanliness wasn't great, especially in the toilets. Regret coming here.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Swansea this bar consistently serves decent ales (from my own experience) and more than adequate food (I rely on others for this). In any case it is well worth stopping off at for a break from shopping (or any similar excuse of your choice).

Decent priced pub food. Had a steak and it was well cooked, friend had a curry which was also good. Staff were friendly and smiling even though the pub was busy . They were polite to all customers whilst I was waiting to be served at the bar. There was a small delay in my steak as there had been a problem with their grill but they came to inform me straight away that it could possibly be a 20 min wait, which I had no problem with. Liked the fact they informed me straight away and also came to check after our meal if we had any issues, which we did not. Eat here if I come to Swansea shopping and always have good food and good service

Visited on international day so pub was extremely busy. Good selection of draft beers. Lots of meals being served, although we didn't eat ourselves. If you are looking for a drink near Swansea City centre and don't want to brave the area around Wind Street the Eli Jenkins is worth a visit. Short walk to Grand Theatre, bus station and other central attractions.

I’ve complained to the staff and manager over six times about the pints of Stella being going flat. Additionally, the coke cola is also flat. Nothing has been done about this. Whereas other local pubs are serving decent pints. I’ve tried asking the bar tenders to pour better pints, but even those pints are flat. There are clearly other issues with the lager. The bar managers are unable to resolve this issue, leaving me no choice but to leave the drinks on the table and to walk out. Stephen Morris
