   I love this place. It professionally caters for all patrons and IMHO and experience has proved a "safe" space for women and singles. Amazing rates. No food. Matt and Andy, who have moved on to pastures new, will be SO, SO, sadly missed. They built it up to what it is today. And now Kate is at the helm and apoears to have made a promising start. Good luck.

   The locals didn't seem to keen on us being there, the bar staff were lovely, nice clean toilets. Guy running the karaoke wasn't hugely friendly... Local pub for local people I guess. But nice staff.

   Excellent pub and excellent mega karaoke session on Friday from 8pm till ..well..whenever! Very lovely and friendly landlady Helen who manages to keep control of a very friendly group of locals too. Made friends for life in there and will definately be going back to visit at some point.

   I've known this pub in many different forms for over 40 years. Its had highs and lows, but the new tennant have a great plan to reinvigorate the pub. It's a great venue and, as a musician, one I really enjoy paying at. The bar has a good selection of beers and all drinks and there is a great new menu. Call in, you wont regret it.
