Sunday carvery was pretty good, everything fresh and tasty , only downside was meat portions was a bit to small
Saddened to write this review after frequently having beautiful pub food, but not on my last visit. We sent back more than what we ate. What was sent back was inedible. Chips were cold and hard. We will be giving it one last visit but if their problems are not resolved will not be returning. Such a shame.
We got here a little early to find our table was already setup and waiting for us, there were a family of 4 we all sat down to enjoy our lunch. The staff promptly took our drinks order which took a few minutes to arrive whilst we were all browsing through the menus. I placed the order. We didn't have to wait to long for the starters to be served. The starters were cleared. The mains followed shortly after, and it was great. Chicken was covered in BBQ/Bacon & loads of cheese, Deep dished Lasagne & a double stacked Burger all served with chips. We were asked several times if all was OK - it was, and drinks orders were taken when needed and arrived within a few minutes as well. I cleared my plate and finished off a few others - and left satisfied.
Met a friend for a Sunday dinner - the carvery was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and polite. Definitely comes with a high recommendation from me!
We booked a table 10 on Wednesday night. Staff were lovely and very pleasant. We ordered off the 2 course menu, just a short wait for food, which was beautiful !! Good selection of drinks - all very reasonably priced. Dog friendly - for our next lunchtime visit Thank you for a lovely evening.
Nice warm welcome. Restaurant very clean and we'll presented. Service was quick and food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.
