   Good on-campus spot, prices similar to wetherspoons. The problem is, and what's stopping it from getting higher, is the simple fact that it's just a bit naff. Tables are sticky. Questionable music blasting 24/7, often over big sporting events that groups had specifically came to watch. It serves the purpose, and is great for a pint after a stressful 2 hour lecture, but it doesn't really do much more.

   As sticky as the tables are, the prices can often make up for it. The occasional events and quizzes can be mixed in quality. Mixing and live sound is terribly loud and overdriven - which is not a good thing when you have amateur musicians giving it their all during open mic. Hand soap in the gents is nowhere to be seen. The size is great for meetups and larger groups, with plenty of leather seats and big tables, with a few card and board games. Overall, a very convenient bar that serves the local student populace well, but lacks edge and character due to it being confined to within the University walls.
