   Fantastic service yet again. My car decided to have some issues over the weekend, called R-Tec on the Monday for it to be booked in for that Wednesday, they also recommended a great recovery company. The car was dropped off and within a couple of hours a full run through video was sent, followed up by a phone call. Car was repaired and ready for collection on the Friday. Would highly recommend!

   Took my S3 in for a Full Service, haldex, brake fluid, DSG and spark plugs in just over a week ago. I was very impressed with the overall service. The staff (Amanda, Richy & Adam) were knowledgable & approachable. I was provided a video health check and a before and after video to show the haldex pre and post clean. The site looks great and I can honestly feel the difference in my car this week. I’ll be going back next year & would recommend to anyone. Thanks

   RTEC is an awesome garage. The mechanics there are fabulous. When Trade Centre Wales sold me a car with missing parts from the engine, they were incredible in doing an assessment for me. Amanda is awesome and so personable. I’m now booked in for an MOT with them and highly recommend them for their honesty and sense of justice for consumers :)

   I was recommended by a mate at work to use R-TEC as he’d had some good experiences with them. Took my previous car (Cupra) to them for a DSG and haldex service earlier on in the year. All a bunch of petrol heads and all very friendly. Completed the service and sent me videos of the underbody of the car (something people don’t usually see) via email which I thought you could only get from a main dealer! Awesome service. I’ve recently bought a new car (BMW m140i) and I used R-TEC to carry out a new vehicle inspection, all completed in the agreed timeframe with regular updates on how it’s going, they sent another video of the underbody of the car assuring that everything was ok with the car. Today I had the car in for a gearbox and rear differential service which went as you’d expect, all done and checks carried out. Sourced all genuine parts and completed in the agreed timeframe without a hitch. Can’t recommend these guys enough, it’s hard to find a good garage these days that don’t over charge you for poor service. Thank you!

   Don't bother taking old VW vehicles here under any circumstances. I understood them to be specialists. This couldn't be further from the truth. Took my T25 Transporter to them for repair. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Had it for 7 weeks, kept palming me off with excuses as to why it wasn't done. They dismantled the carburetor and completely destroyed it ( It was later rebuilt by someone who new what he was doing and I was told that the worst things that could've been done to it, were done to it.) When I was finally handed the keys ( They made me wait 10 mins betore they'd even acknowledge me, while they casually chatted and joked amongst themselves) and after they eventually got the van started for me, I could limp away at no faster than 10 mph with constant cut-outs. And for this destruction, I was charged £700. Reduced to £400 if I paid in cash and didn't receive a receipt. (Hello Mr. Taxman...) Absolute crooks. If I could rate zero stars I would, without hesitation. As for the ridiculous response from R-TEC below: I had used you before for an MOT on the same van. Passed with flying colours according to R-TEC (Yes R-TEC of Kingsbridge in Loughor, a stones throw from where I live, just so you know I'm not confusing the company with another). When I had the van serviced elsewhere at a later date, a number of issues were raised regarding the validity of the MOT. R-TEC's MOT centre was later closed down. They may be fine with modern mechanics, where you just diagnose and slot in a new part, who knows? But for old school work- forget it. As for me using a fake account!? How is it fake when I'm openly displaying my real name?? I have a photo of my van parked in the premises, which I'll upload when I get the chance to dig it out. Absolutely pathetic. I'm just simply airing my overwhelming dissatisfaction with the 'service' you didn't actually provide. Readers of this review, you decide for yourself...

   Excellent service from the R-Tec team. I supplied my own lowering spring which they fitted and had a 4 wheel alignment. Very knowledgeable and helpful with a spotless reception/waiting area as well as the garage area looking just as clean. Great local garage which i will be using again. Thanks

   I cannot thank this garage enough, they got us out of a terrible situation when the new car we brought 4 hours earlier lost its clutch 6 hours away from home. They got the car fixed quickly, sorted out the warranty for us, gave the vehicle a proper good look over and gave us peace of mind and the guys down there couldn’t have been friendlier! Definitely recommend to anyone.
