   Tried GDK for the first time after visiting Peterborough Cathedral Christmas tree festival. Order a Donner Chicken and Lamb mixed kebab with chips. Took ages to produce as the one chef was working on the Deliveroo and Uber Eats orders. No atmosphere in the restaurant but was very clean and smart. The Kebab itself was very good, quality ingredients and nice and hot. There wasn’t very many chips though.

   Absolutely appalling. The food was forgettable at best, but what really turned my stomach was the state of the kitchen. A push bike parked next to the prep area, a full kebab skewer propped against a rusty door, and boxes leaking mystery liquid across the floor completely unacceptable. Hygiene standards seem non-existent. Won’t be returning. Edit: This was the Bridge St Shop.

   Placed an order for 19 kebabs for work with just eat at 11 30. Still didn't have a driver assigned at 13.15, so we drove down to get the order. Just eat score zero stars, but the quality of the food was so good that we couldn't penalise the restaurant. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and everyone enjoyed the food.

   Great experience with German Doner Kebab. Feels like one of the best kebabs I've tried. Walk in and order at the counter could be improved by adding the screen with order numbers, so customers can track the progress and not always clear when order ready are shouted by counter. Overall a good place for a great kebab.

   Poor experience today, wasn't going to write this as usually no issues. 1) sauces, used to give 3 sauces with a box, but now only one? 2) chips were cold 3) chicken doner had loads of fat/skin today, new supplier? Normally get no fatty chunks or skin so this was disappointing. Staff are nice, no issues there.

   The best kebab in Peterborough. Lovely cooked with some extra vegetables and sauces. I tried a wrap as well and it’s just amazing. If I can fail The German Kebab it would be the way the pack the food - over pack it. It’s looks really exclusive but lots of waste. Thank you!
