   In September 25 I was having issues with my Fiat Ducato motorhome and believed it to be a DPF issue so I attempted to rectify the problem myself. After a lot of time and effort (and failing) I decided to bite the bullet and contacted Clive Sinclair Motors to arrange a visit. Best move I made. They explained to me that most customers think they have a DPF problem when in fact it is something else. Within the day they contacted me to explain the faults they had found and what an estimation of the costs would be. I agreed for them to carry the work which was completed within a day. 2 days later I drove across to Europe and covered over 3000 miles in the vehicle without any issues whatsoever. I was also asked if I would bring the vehicle back to them after my travels so they could check the readings once again which I did at no extra cost. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to, good ongoing communication and reasonable costs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

   Literally the best garage ever - super friendly, helpful and honest team, really wouldn’t take my car anywhere else! I’ve been cursed with bad luck with the car this year, and every time it’s needed looking at, they’ve been on it. Can’t fault their service, communication, prices reliability and honesty - literally not going anywhere else ever again and would give 100 stars if I could. THANKS A MILLION!

   My car failed mot, the dreaded dpf light. Mot centre suggested going to the dpf doctors Sinclairs garage in neath, the work was done by them,very efficiently and the difference to performance is amazing I am well pleased, thank you. There was even a follow on checkup to make sure everything was OK. Thank you I would recommend you to anybody.

   My van was taken to a "vauxhall specialist" twice who didn't find the root cause. Took it to Clive Sinclair motors for DPD ASSESSMENT and they found an issue with the EGR straight away. Very good advice given after the assessment. EGR was taken off and indeed it was blocked up. Highly recommend.

   We visited Ian (DPF Doctor) around 2 years ago with a DPF issue on our van. We had tried various other garages around the area but none of them wanted anything to do with the job, this included one ‘Big’ well known garage suggesting we should just scrap the van. After taking the van to Ian he explained the diagnostic process needed to find the fault in a very simple and understandable way. Once the issue was identified (quicker than I expected) He explained the next steps with a very accurate estimation of cost. The job was done expertly in very quick time and the van has been running smoothly for the last 2 years (well over 200K on the clock now!). I’ve had to visit Ian a few times in the last 2 years regarding a few small issues with electrics/sensors (to be expected with the age/mileage of the van) and each time Ian has been more than fantastic, it’s always a very quick turnaround from booking in to the job being completed and each time a job is done I’ve never had an issue. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt this one was needed as there are not a lot of Garages like Clive Sinclair Motors left in the local/surrounding areas. I can highly recommend Ian and his team and will have no issue in returning to them should anything else happen with the van (hopefully not too soon anyway!). Maggie

   I've been coming here for over 3 years now and am never disappointed. When in for an MOT or repair they always talk me through what's needed (if anything) show me the worn parts and the price always seems very fair. I was also having some over revving issues which they gave me a JLM Diesel Extreme Clean for and it did the trick! Car has been running great since. A lovely local, family run business that I know I can trust and that counts for a lot these days. Would highly recommend after using them all this time.

   I've been using Sinclair Motors for the last decade or so, and wouldn't go anywhere else. They're good, honest guys that know their stuff. Very friendly, enjoy a bit of banter, and good all round service. And Angela in the office is the only person I've ever come across who actually rings when they say they will! First time I've ever come across a garage that you don't have to keep ringing for updates! Would highly recommend
