Ordered a Latte and a Panini, waited ages for Panini to arrive. It was placed on the plate best side up as the bottom was burnt black, so rock hard and pretty much inedible. Visit Roy's often but won't be using cafe again
The afternoon experienced a high volume of patrons, resulting in extended wait times; however, the staff demonstrated commendable effort in managing the flow of customers. The Mocha, rated at 6/10, exhibited a less-than-ideal consistency, with a diluted texture, a lack of creaminess, and an overpowering coffee flavor. Conversely, the Chocolate Fudge Brownie received a perfect score of 10/10. While the overall service was average, the bingo caller's demeanor appeared somewhat unenthusiastic, didn't have the happy to help service. Despite these observations, we are frequent visitors and anticipate returning.
Worst sausage sandwich ever, my fault for going somewhere cheaper. Pre cooked sausage reheated. Mine was so black when it came most of it was uneatable. I should have taken it back and complained but I just left, never to go again
Went there with my mother and my young daughter. The women serving with exception of one did not have a good attitude, were quite abrupt as well. Ordered 2 bacon rolls and a sausage roll with drinks. The food was brought to the table minus the sausage roll, queried where the sausage roll was to be informed I did not order one. I told them I had, the woman serving then asked me how much I paid and then worked out how much the bill would be for the items on the table. She did concede that I had paid for a sausage roll and went to get one. The way it was handled was as though she was implying I was a lying about the sausage roll and was in fact trying to dupe her and in effect steal one. Not impressed with service at all, will not be looking to return any time soon with other cafés in area. On a better note the food was fine and so was the coffee and tea.
15 minute wait to heat up a bland and obviously tinned soup. May aswell have bought a can and heated it up at home. Would've been quicker and cheaper!
Whilst the coffee was good the man making it was abrupt, The other staff were great, interacting and friendly
Very very slow service, over 35 mins queing, hadn't got what was advertised, charged different price than was advertised
