Good people let down by a bad system. I booked my car for a service and it arrived at 8:10 as the time they ask you to arrive is between 8:00 and 9:00. This is reasonable and thus I arrived at a reasonable time from Mumbles. However as it is a first come first serve basis, myself being 10 minutes 'late' resulted in me waiting upwards of 5 hours for a full service of my car (when also factoring in the lunch break of the staff). In addition there seemed to be little communication between the engineers and the customer service staff, as when I asked for an update on my car they didn't know if it had been road tested or not and didn't even know if the car was mine or not after it was serviced. Everyone there was polite and friendly enough but this system is simply put ineffective, because 2-3 minutes behind schedule can result in you waiting an additional 2.5 hours (the average time for a service). A time slot allocation/booking system would be far superior and enable more communication between customer service staff and engineers. Good people bad system unless you live in sketty and can go home for the rest of the day and arrive before opening time.

Took my old Porsche 911 in for the MOT and it failed. Work was carried out and on the retest a brake pipe failed so more work. All the repairs were carried out swiftly, but I had to return due to a small problem. Sorted immediately to my satisfaction, so alls well. Thanks for a painless transaction!

Fixed fan heaters within 2hrs, two other garages failed. Car failed to start within half mile of garage, came out within 5 min. took back to garage, fixed, no charge, even though unlikely fault was anything to do with repair. A little expensive, but good work. Recommended. Thankyou

Been there twice and had awful experiences both times. First off the person over the phone was just straight up rude, thought maybe they were having a bad day, until I phoned a year later and had the exact same experience. Failed the MOT and they couldn't book me in for a week! Never had that experience in my life, most garages I've been to have been able to fix them that day or the next - maybe I've just been lucky in the past, but its very important for me seeing as I can't work without my car. Had to pester them and get them to explain what was wrong with my car, what work needed doing, and how much it'll cost, rather than just blindly asking them to fix it and pay a lump sum with no knowledge on what they are doing. I felt very dismissed, that they wanted me in and out quickly. I then went to another garage about my advisories and was nicely explained how the advisories they had given me weren't physically possible, and that they did half a job at fixing the car. He talked me through what work my car needed, why it needed it, and what a bad job this garage did of making my car road worthy. So do not go here! Wish I had looked through more of the reviews. Lack of customer service and Human decency has mean I've had to pay more money for another garage to fix the jobs this one started. They do the bare minimum required, meaning it'll probably break down again very quickly once it's 'fixed'

First time using this garage and will also be my last! They failed my car's MOT and the receptionist phoned me to ask if I wanted them to see if they can fix the issues and try to pass it the same day. I said yes but wanted to know the cost before anything was done. She said she couldn't possibly give me a price before the mechanics had taken a look at the car, so I asked her to phone me back once they'd done this and knew what would need doing. She never phoned me until after the work was done - just asked me to collect the car and still didn't give me the total price until I asked! I was stunned as hadn't expected to pay that much. I went to collect my car and tried to argue my case with her and a male manager - no money off, the manager apologied but the receptionist didn't. Instead she claimed she had promised to phone me only if the car needed something other than new bulbs and also that she'd given me part of the cost over the phone - both of which are untrue. Her manner was very unfortunate, talking over me and showing no empathy whatsoever. So, due to the poor customer service I can't recommend this garage. Also, having now read some of the reviews here I can't help but wonder if my car actually would've passed its MOT had I taken it somewhere else.

This garage recently 'repaired' a fault with my brakes during a routine MOT, on their advice, I agreed to the repair. Within 4 days my car became undriveable due to a seized brake caliper. I had to have my vehicle towed to another garage in Swansea as Roger Blackmore wouldn't help and were dismissive of the fault they created a few days previously, in total, the situation cost me £325 to rectify. On a previous occasion this sham of a garage failed my VW T5 for having a faulty DPF unit, my vehicle does not have a DPF unit as it is pre-2009, after speaking with the DVSA and them confirming my observations, an MOT was granted through another garage. I would not reccomend this garage to my worst enemy, they are very unprofessional, show a severe lack of customer service, employ poorly trained mechanics and only interested in charging the customer for unnecessary repairs. Take your business elsewhere if you want your vehicles roadworthy and safe.

Took my car in after a failed mot . Was the only garage that could fit me on asap . Was quoted maximum £250 for repairs as only minor and I had the parts . Failed its mot again as this had to be done before repairs . Yep this part all legitimate. They phoned my partner and told him repairs would cost around £580 but when I phoned They told me different things and then told me around £400 . I'm a mechanic myself but haven't had the time to do the little things that needed doing . He said (dean) id need a whole new front exhaust when I have a small leak from hose and its a minor to kept an eye on and repaired as and when . So why do I need a whole front exhaust system ?? He also said its £90 per shock to fit and £140 for the shocks . Which have been provided by me . So why try and charge me another £140 for parts I provided . And also £90 per shock when its only £60 per hour . So you telling me it takes 3 hours to replace 2 shocks ??? Pull the other one .... Also claiming faulty wiring with lights etc when its bulbs that need replacing worst case dodgy earth also saying I need a new handbreak when all it needs is adjusting . Yes a mechanic went through my car with a fine tooth comb myself included before I decided to use this garage . Only reason I didn't use my reliable one is because it couldn't be fitted in until march and I needed it done asap . I wish I'd read the reviews before hand otherwise I wouldn't of wasted my time . I know the rates on garages but to be told £250 then £580 they must of thought blonde and seen me coming . Well he had a bloody shock when I told him he was wrong and told him did you see me coming did you . Well un lucky . I will not be doing business with you now or never . ITS A £60 PER HOUR GARAGE . THERE'S NOTHING WORSE THAN TRYING TO RIP SOMEONE OFF . YES TIMES ARE TOUGH FOR US ALL BUT YOU DON'T DO THE DIRTY ON PEOPLE BY TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE .... AVOID !!!!

Took my car in for a MOT, they didn’t call me to tell me if the car had passed. When I called to check what was happening I was told the car was ready to pick up and the work had been done. Wasn’t quoted or asked if I wanted them to do the work. They also completed all the advisory’s WITHOUT informing me. I was told “we had 3 of the same car in and they all failed their MOT, something must have got mixed up” yet when I called and asked about my car the person on the phone was able to confirm my registration in seconds. Overall cost me £280 and no apology. Wouldn’t recommend.
