   Genuinely the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Cold food despite collecting on time,every dish bland and crispy beef shouldn't be slimy and the sauce consistency of vomit. Hairs found in two dishes, Honestly the chefs should be ashamed and prized for most nausea inducing food award.

   Was debating whether to post a public review due to the nature i experienced on making one complaint a few years ago - but if being honest in my opinion and experiences helps others - i will post exactly that. Absolutely awful place - used to have standards and character about the food, care and passion in the flavours of their food - not anymore. Food has NEVER been one bit consistent in the last few times I've ordered (and thats not even that regular because its my last resort) Food has no set recipe - and changes every single time - hot and sour soup especially - the ingredients get changed up and mixed about, sometimes containing tofu, sometimes not, sometimes like water, sometimes thicker than slime - its never the same. Chips are also disgusting! Comparable to greasy cold cardboard when they arrive and the salt and pepper chips have rationed flavourings and veg - literally a few skinny sliced onions on top and can barely taste them! The rice is actually pretty decent most the time but can also at times like tonight - be dry, bulky and cold. Ive ordered enough times to know its not just a bad night - but more the fact they have lost their passion and care for the food and just rush it for the money. I wont ever be back here again - not even as a last resort! Even my kids couldn’t eat their tea and complained it was “disgusting” - they are 5 and 6. Not acceptable! Oh and we was overcharged for our order and also had to return because items were missing!!

   Lovely food, best lemon chicken in Buxton, delicious with plenty of pineapple. We also had Cantonese beef, really nice flavour . Will definitely be going again .

   Waited nearly 2 hours for food to show up and they had forgotten chicken balls and replaced with chips , driver arrived then turned around and left ? When he arrived back again he said he had to leave as he needed the toilet ? … Had to call the restaurant to get him to come back. Half of order cold , sweet and sour sauce is watery . Wouldn’t bother ordering from here again.

   There are several reasons that China House has me going back time and time again. The service is really friendly and the staff go above and beyond, calling to double check something rather than just guessing. Delivery always on time….& food….well delicious and good value portions. My one negative is that it makes you so greedy because you end up unable to choose between your favourites and you just have to get both.

   Perfect customer service. I ordered a Mongolian beef and they sent out Mongolian chicken. Easy mistake to make with the volume of food they send out. I phoned them and told them they had sent the wrong meat out. Sent me Mongolian beef out within 20 minutes and rice as well free of charge. Highly recommended and thank you china house. Will be using you again for sure.

   Used loads of times but tonight's was terrible. Vermicelli was full of tiny bits of diced pork about 2 pieces of chicken and a couple of prawns! Topped with a hard portion of breaded chicken! Plenty of onions and beansprouts to fill it out. The salt and pepper chicken nuggets were rock hard as if they had been reheated. Very disappointed. The quality of the food is very hit and miss just lately?? Sorry to say will be trying elsewhere

   Our first takeaway after moving to Buxton. Extremely friendly man was taking our order! I choose duck in black bean sauce - delicious and fried rice- delicious. Lovely extra misfortune cookies! Highly recommend :)

   Awesome food every time. crispy shredded beef in Kung Po beautiful. Warning Mongolian chicken is not only delicious but is definitely very very hot if you like that.
