   I’m very disappointed with this Chinese takeaway. Over time, both the quality and quantity of the food have noticeably declined, which is frustrating considering the prices. On top of that, the customer service was extremely poor. The lady who took my order on the phone was very rude. She sent the wrong food, and when I called back to explain the issue, she put me on hold and started talking to someone else. When I tried to tell her about the incorrect item, she didn’t listen properly and was dismissive rather than helpful. Mistakes can happen, but the way customers are treated matters. Unfortunately, between the declining food standards and the rude service, this experience was unacceptable.

   The crispy shredded chilli beef was delicious! Really enjoyed the pan fried dumplings too, though I missed the slivers of garlic and ginger that some places put in the soy/vinegar dip (that makes all the difference in my opinion, and I wish more places would do this). The chow mein was tasty and comforting. Loved the satay sauce too. For me personally, the only weak point was the Thai red curry dish. On a positive note, the vegetables were abundant, fresh and crisp, really enjoyed these! However, the sauce didn't really taste like Thai red curry sauce at all, and was REALLY watered down. Feedback offered with love as I enjoyed the meal and care about good food. Will definitely order again :)

   Staying up here for a training course and had a meal from here on my last night.. all I can say is I wish I had gone here on my first night! Food was delicious, hot and very good portion size, staff were friendly and helpful

   Lovely food, great service. Had a mixup with delivery (which was my fault, not theirs) and it was all sorted - I even think they recooked the food as it was piping hot when it arrived, even after the delay I caused. Food is always very enjoyable and will order again. Very impressed, thank you.

   I have only ever heard good reviews of Mandarin House so was bitterly disappointed with our takeaway. My husband had a Singapore Chow Mein that was just noodles and veges. He found 2 shimps in it and a couple of small pieces of chicken. He had requested no pork but still expected more meat with his tasteless meal. I had a beef curry with egg fried rice which was not only bland, but the beef was slimey and totally inedible . I only had a couple of forkfulls, thinking it was just the first couple of pieces of beef but I couldn't stomach any more as it made me feel sick. I always say I have a cast iron stomach and can eat anything but this beat me. On a positive note, there was plenty of beef in it , its just a pity it tasted revolting. Needless to say, we won't be going there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
