   I’ve moved house and honestly there is no Chinese like Ho Fook. So much so, when I’m nearby I will wait for it to open and collect one! It’s by FAR the best Chinese takeaway! The taste of the salt and pepper chips cannot be compared! I always order the Singapore chowmein and it’s generously packed with lots of meat as well as being so tasty! Order now! You won’t regret it

   I have ordered from here many times and they have never dropped the ball once, the quality of the food and the service for a takeaway are second to none, shout out for the chicken satay skewers (best I've ever had). Also the Garlic and chilli noodles are 10/10 and you gotta give the chicken curry a go, ask for it spicy and they will accommodate. I'll never order from anywhere else!

   First time using since being taken over by new management. Food was nice only thing I will say is I ordered a spicy dish and asked for extra green chilli to make it a lot spicier, dish that came wasn't spicy at all, only complaint.

   Just tried this place in spite of the negative reviews once it re-opened and must say I'm impressed. All 3 dishes were pretty damn good (Duck spring rolls, chicken fried rice and salt & pepper king prawn which I asked for extra spicy and it was!). Seems second only to Ruby on Leek Rd atm which is fairly high praise, tried all the chinese takeaways within a 3 miles radius of ST2. Can't wait to try some more dishes! Thank you. Edit - As of 13/8 l also tried the WonTon soup (fairly good), salt & pepper spare rib that I asked for extra spicy (excellent!) and the Crispy Noodles (awesome, my favourite so far!!). Just adding so it helps people.

   Not a patch on the old owners. The food has gone down hill. Everything tastes like it’s a few days old and nothing was as spicy as it used to be. Very bland. Only positive I can say is the staff/ driver are exceptionally friendly.
