Kitchen started 19th May and still not finished! Been in talks with Customer Care Team for 11 weeks trying to arrange legal electricity certificate but told not their problem we need to sort ourselves. In store staff are fabulous but their installers & after sale team let them down. Check out real reviews on Facebook- Wickes Kitchen Reviews. We’ve raised this with trading standards & ombudsman who have raised a case against Wickes.

Burgess Hill Branch. Big shout out for Dan here. He's an exemplary team member super helpful and courteous. Store is bright and airy and has a good selection of stock items and prices. Decent parking and easy to get to.

They have it all, even on a Sunday. Getting a bag if sand fortified onto the flatbed was an absolute shambles though, maybe it was a bad day at the office but it was all disorganised and confusing with other cars being brought in close and awkwardly positioned. Helpful and quick staff though!

I have been using wickes since it was payless however after my last experience in here I will never use them again. I have spent £10,000s in here. I went in and purchased a makita angle grinder in here for a small job it was the last one they had. I got to the job and it didn't work. I checked the fuse still didn't work. I returned it 2 hours later unused and in original condition. They refused to refund me or give me a credit note. The lady at the customer service desk said "we don't refund broken items here" I said I can swap it for another angle grinder. She refused and said I need to go to marital as they don't deal with returns. This is disgusting and I would never step foot in this place again.

Good and large store in a great location in Burgess Hill, I will start using it much more. I've used Wickes for years, primarily in Brighton & Hove. There's always a good range of products with good availability. I think Wickes tends to be used a lot by trades people as they have a lot of suitable building/repair/maintenance products and it's a no nonsense, straightforward shop. Prices depend on the type of products but generally they are very slightly cheaper than other stores - but not always. They have a good website with options for delivery and click & collect which is handy to buy and reserve your items. They also have a big parking area outside which is ideal for cars, vans and any larger vehicles. They accept all major credit cards including Amex which is good for business accounts. Happy overall and will use them again. There's also a food & coffee van concession outside in the car park but I haven't tried them yet, handy if you're busy and need a quick bite.

Parked in their EMPTY car park in the evening to go out for dinner and now have a £60 charge. Not a great way to encourage people to use your services. What difference does it make having cars in your car park when you are closed? At least put a barrier in place if you want to be so petty.
