Absolutely excellent service - Lisa was excellent with my daughter and went out of her way to make her feel comfortable prior to and during her dental treatment. The reception staff were extremely helpful and we did not have to wait for our appointment at all. Highly recommend.

First ever dental visit yesterday for my 2 children aged almost 1 and almost 2, so glad I chose Promenade Dental Practice. A lovely experience all round, the receptionist Ayesha was absolutely amazing with my children, she also gave them stickers which was a great distraction. A positive experience in the dentists room too, my oldest was very upset but he was very kind and caring with her, felt very informed leaving there and some great help and tips to help brushing with young babies.

Absolutely 100% recommend! I have a fear of the dentist and put off work on my front tooth for years. Claire was fantastic from the very start and put me at ease. She did a wonderful job of making sure I was happy with the procedure all the way through. Myself and my little boy are now much more relaxed about our visits to the dentist. Thank you Promenade and Claire!

I’ve always had anxiety around dental care and appointments but I find here to be a place where all the staff are really caring, patient and accommodating. I feel like my needs are always met above and beyond, and I feel like I’m always listened to and looked after well. My family’s all moved over to this practice due to the above reasons. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I have recently left the NHS patient list for this practice. Although the staff, and in particular my dentist, were wonderful I had two bad experiences. Firstly, the constant cancellations of appointments made well in advance were annoyingly cancelled a few days before the appointment. This was very frustrating as I had to book time off work to attend. These appointments caused me losing a holiday day each time. Secondly I was at an appointment in the dentist chair and my dentist went to seek advice from a senior dentist. He came in and started to inspect my teeth with a dental instrument and started to have a go at me about the standard of my teeth! He was asking me questions with the instrument in my mouth and expecting a response which I did and obviously it came out garbled. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner and I felt this was deliberate to make me sound foolish in front of the junior dentist and the dental nurse. I’m a gentleman in my 60s and never felt so humiliated. I did return as I liked my particular dentist who was attentive and professional, but the incident is consistently playing on my mind and to be honest I still feel very angry about it and have consequently started to look for a new dental practice. Please beware.

Absolutely fantastic dentist, took me on as an NHS patient from 111. Since day one they have been so helpful, calming and lovely. The lady dentist has now fitted two fillers and saved me from having a root canal. So pleased with the customer service and how lovely all the staff are including the receptionist :)

I've had three experiences with this dentist. First experience was very good, went in as an emergency and the dentist herself and team were great. Second time, I was 5-10mins late due to terrible traffic going into Mumbles tried ringing 4 or 5 times but no one at reception to answer me. When I arrived it was a case of your late, appointment will be cancelled, do it again and you're off the list sorry. No understanding, lack of empathy. Thirdly, I had the rearranged appointment today, but woke up feeling full of cold, it's their policy to not attend the appointment if doing so, in case of covid etc. Same answer off receptionist, canceling at short notice you will now be struck off list and you will need to ring 111 to reorganise a new dentist. Again no understanding, lack of empathy, no care given. Understandable the business has to stick to their policies, and I'd understand if I just didn't turn up and not called, but that isn't the case. There was no " sorry nobody was here to take your call" or "Mumbles traffic can be terrible, let me check if we can squeeze you in as you have come all this way, but if there isn't, I'm sorry but we'll need to rearrange an appointment" from reception. Just bad customer service, no understanding. Most probably too many patients needing dental care, strike this one off and onto the next one type of culture in the business. Disappointing, as first experience very good.

I only joined relatively recently but have had good experiences each time I've attended. Most recently, my child care fell through and the receptionist was more than happy to watch the kids whilst I had my appointment. As far as I'm concerned, this was above and beyond their responsibility and much appreciated! The dental care was great too!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the premises were spotlessly clean. Felt safe with covid restrictions being adhered to. The dentist was knowledgeable and efficient. Would highly recommend this dental practice.
