   I needed a small amount of Oak cut to size to replace damaged and missing strips (very small, 11 x 2 cm) in a parquet floor. I had worried that as I was not a regular/trade customer and it was such a small order that they might not take it on - but they did, and quoted a very reasonable price for a custom job (which would actually not be carried out at the branch). Dave was very welcoming and helpful and gave good advice for other items we were interested in. I will need to place a larger order for wood to build raised beds in a few months and will definitely return to Alsford for that.
