Left this restaurant a couple of hours ago. Went here a few years ago, didn’t enjoy then. A friend recommended the all you can eat buffet for £24 per head, we gave it a go. Very disappointed in the food and environment. Staff were very friendly but only had a couple of interactions with them. We were sat opposite the loos, groups of children were taking food from the buffet and then all piling into the toilets. This happened numerous times, I asked a member of staff if they could maybe stop this and they did. Parents of children sent them outside the restaurant on the street and as we left we were taunted. Food wise, all meat was dry, ribs, chicken and chewy beef. Sauces were packet at best and either too thin or lumpy. Choice was wide but quantity over quantity. Chilli and salt king prawns were reconstituted, I’m happy to be proven wrong here. Shabby and unclean interior, loos…. No toilet paper. I would have fed this back to the staff but absolutely no post interaction with them. We left disappointed and won’t return. Two strikes, there won’t be a third.

Extremely disappointing. Ever since they went down the “all you can eat” buffet route the quality has dropped off a cliff. This used to be a real treat and yet tonight, when ordering takeaway, they got three (out of the six) orders wrong. Everything tasted cheap and synthetic (like you’d expect from and all you can eat buffet) and overall was a terrible meal. Not helped by the sarcastic and patronising response upon calling to explain their errors with the order. Will not be going back and strongly advise against anyone else doing so. There are so many great restaurants in Whitchurch, it is a shame that this one has gone so downhill.

Had such a great meal here! The chicken curry was rich and full of flavor, and the salt and pepper king prawns were honestly the highlight for me perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. Everything was fresh, hot, and way better than your average buffet. Ken and the Team were friendly, and the whole place felt clean and welcoming. Left feeling full and happy. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely place and the atmosphere is beautiful . Nice place to try Chinese food. Unfortunately not a buffet which I would have liked,so that I can choose varieties of what I want to eat. The service attendant was so exceptional and puts customers first. Neat and also clean place. I will be visiting again whenever am around the area or town.

Our family go swallow pretty much every Saturday, sometimes more plus takeaways! The quality off food is excellent as well as the service and cleanliness, it’s our favourite restaurant and never let down.
