Ordered food for collection at 6:15. The lady behind the counter slipped up and gave our food away to a customer as we got there meaning we had to wait another hour to get our food. As an apology they gave us 4 cans of coke? Absolute joke. Going elsewhere next time.
First time using. Two out of three dishes really not good. Kung Po sauce more like bitter gravy. Special fried rice similar. Third meal was good (duck) but all very salty. Overall not a great experience. Told after we arrived to collect that it’s cash only.
Ordered from here when staying at a local touring park. Collected the food and it was amazing. Would highly recommend. Crispy Shredded Chicken in Chilli Sauce is one of the best I've tasted. Will 100% be returning.
One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in years!!! Very reasonably priced too. Only complaint is that we ordered on the phone for collection, we were told a time to collect and we ended up stood waiting for 30 mins after that time. Luckily the food was worth the long wait.
Food is good, when busy you do have to wait a long time for your food
I’ve lived in Whitchurch for 8 yrs and this Chinese comes top of my list. They are always friendly and their food is always top notch. I don’t mind waiting if they are busy. Good service and food is worth waiting for.
Always good food, never had anything I didn't like from here. They will try to make up a dish not on the menu if you ask.
Tried this Chinese as our usual one was extremely busy, but certainly won’t make that mistake again. Firstly our meals were nearly 25 minutes late and I was fobbed off a few times with ‘sorry we are busy’. I did finally get a small discount after speaking to 4 separate people, and that’s why they have 2 stars instead of 1. The sweet and sour was pretty much flavourless, as were the prawn crackers, which also tasted stale. The rest of the meal was purely flavoured with salt. Really not at all appetising and will just wait next time for my usual takeaway.
The best Chinese in Whitchurch. My favourite being Duck in Black Pepper Sauce. The portion size is enormous and the duck is absolutely gorgeous. All the Chinese Takeaways in Whitchurch are very good, but this one never falters.
