Attended for the monthly tabletop gaming evening held on a Sunday and led by Liche games. A welcoming pub with friendly and helpful staff. It's a fantastic setting and a very well presented space.
My wife and I had the festive menu which we had to order in advance and it was probably the best roast meal I have ever had. We had great service too which made for a lovely evening. Thanks all.
While visiting Norwich, I took my in laws for Lunch at the White Hart. Arrived without a booking for Monday Lunch. Service was spot on and the food was as good as any Ive had in a pub setting. A nice log fire on a cold day was also very much appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Regards Andy from Western Australia !
We came here for a family lunch this weekend and had a really lovely meal. We were a big group of 15 and they accommodated us brilliantly, especially as we had 2 elderly family members and a baby. The staff were very friendly and service was super efficient. The majority of us went for the carvery which was delicious, and the staff member serving was brilliant. Only complaint would be that the upper room was very hot.
This is the best pub in Wymondham if you have a dog! There is a very friendly and well behaved pub dog, all the staff are great with our little boxer. They seem to be improving their food at the moment too, as we go here more than anywhere else im really glad they are doing better fish and vegetarian dishes now!
My first visit to The White Hart and enjoyed a great pint or two there. On entering there was a good buzz... apparently it was quiz night with a very good turn out of locals. The barman was welcoming and explained what hand pumped ales were on offer. (Makes such a change when I often encounter staff are in the wrong job and shouldn't be serving people.. you know the type!) Anyhow, the beer was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the general atmosphere. May try some food there next time I'm in Wymondham and update this if I remember to... otherwise it's a great venue IMHO if you're just in the mood for a good pint. Recommended.
Mixed experience. Nice looking pub, service was good, pizza was great, but the carvery was a let down. Would definitely go again but not have the carvery. The meat was dry, and the potatoes and Yorkshire puddings tasted like pre made frozen versions.
Just what we've needed on Boxing day. Basic but, Nice and the FoH staff Always very nice. We'll be back
