   Lovely friendly pub with a lovely landlady Lesley. One of the best landladies I’ve ever met so welcoming and can’t do enough for you. The food is really nice and pub is comfortable and clean. Well with a visit.

   Lesley and Pat are very special friends of mine who I've had the pleasure of knowing for many years and I love very dearly. They are always very welcoming. They are always up for a laugh and have really amazing personalities and a really fantastic sense of humour. You will always have a really enjoyable time when you go to their pub.

   Homely, comfy pub. Had a nice pint of well kept ale. Very quiet for a Saturday evening. Just me in fact. Dog friendly and the pub dog is very friendly.

   We stayed for the night in our campervan and Lesley and Pat couldn't have been more welcoming to me and my son. We had a lovely evening, we met the locals and learned a lot about the area.. we'll definitely be back, if only to visit the tortoises! Thank you.

   cant recommend this pub enough. although not local to the area was made to feel part of the family. the place was warm and welcoming and the bar staff were friendly. the restrooms were clean and the pub is dog friendly

   Found this as a campervan stop over. Rang ahead to check it was ok to stay, landlady said they were closed for renovation so no food available but we are welcome to stay and also go in for a drink. I'm so glad we did, what a lovely couple, very welcoming and friendly, she even made us a plate of sandwiches. We had such a lovely night. The pub is in a lovely location and we will definitely return.
