Lovely little tradition pub with lovely owners and locals, we just spent the night away at lavender lodge. We was recommended this little pub and it didn’t disappoint. thank you for having us and our two noisy dogs.

Locals pub only. Popped in due to being in the area. Looked nice from the outside. Spoke to , what appeared to be the owner. When asking about food her words were ' we serve food but I don't like cooking! I don't have a menu, we cook what's in the freezers' she clearly didn't want us there. We left and wouldn't return. We did laugh about it though!

So glad I moved to this little gem of a village. I've not only become a local, but the locals have become like family, we have been made to feel so welcome and with our dog Polly in the Cherry Tree. Julie and Roger are terrific landlords, the food - wow! Julie caters to all your needs, you just want to come back for more, don't know how she does it all. Service with a smile, the atmosphere and locals amazing. Excellent Christmas Eve, New Years and events. They treat you like human beings, they provide true community spirit. What is missed in other pubs nowadays. Thank you both!

I have eaten here a number of times now when up for the day visiting my dad in Wymondham. The food is fantastic and the owners very friendly. It has a definite local community vibe about it along with being welcoming to visitors. I wish I lived nearer so I could visit more often. I look forward to my next visit. Keep up the good work!

We live locally and the Cherry Tree is our first choice of a place for a warm welcome and excellent meal. Last night Julie, the landlady cooked us the most divine fish and chips anywhere in the country. She is a brilliant cook (not chef) this is real food cooked fresh when you arrive. Excellent! Thank you Julie, delicious!

Excellent, what an absolute gem. Roger and Julie, the owners of the pub couldn't be more helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and plentiful. The beer is kept to perfection. The locals are friendly and conversation flows freely. There is a regular bus service to Norwich with a stop directly outside the pub which is great if you wish to sample several of the beers on offer. I heartily recommend that you visit The Cherry Tree and enjoy its delightful ambience.

Landlord stood in the road shouting at our group of motorcyclists turning into a junction at low speed telling us to 'slow down' while waving his arms about. Totally unprovoked as we were doing well under the 30mph limit. Assuming bikers aren't welcome here...
