First time ever going to a booking-only barber and I honestly didn’t know what to expect — but from the moment I sat down it was total relaxation. Jim has that rare ability to make you feel comfortable straight away. The conversation went absolutely everywhere, the kind where you forget you’re even there for a haircut, and somehow I came away feeling like I’d known him for years. Pretty sure I told him more than I’ve told most of my family. As for the cut itself, I gave him full artistic licence because I don’t really know much about hair or styles — and that turned out to be the best decision I could’ve made. He clearly knows his craft and it shows. Clean, sharp, and exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. No rushing, no cookie-cutter approach, just someone taking pride in doing it properly. Safe to say I’ve found my barber. I’ll be back without hesitation, and I’d recommend Jim to anyone who wants a proper haircut and a genuinely good experience, not just a quick trim and out the door.

Jim was fantastic with our 4 year old when getting his hair cut. So patient and respectful whilst getting the job done, sensitive to our boy's needs and a very reassuring experience for us as parents. Rhys looks awesome and we have already booked our next appointment!

Jim was amazing with my little boy today who has additional needs. He played toys, there was no pressure, and more importantly no tears from my little one who normally struggles having his hair done. I'll definitely go back thank you.

Both Joe and James were amazing with my 10 year old son that is autistic and non verbal. They had so much patience with him and made sure he was happy and comfortable at all times. I will definitely be returning. Thanks both!

This was our second visit to Jim the Trim with my son. Jim was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to create a calming environment tailored to my autistic son’s needs. Salon was free from overwhelming noises and bright lights. My son felt comfortable and relaxed, and Jim was able to give him a fantastic haircut without any stress. It's wonderful to see services that cater for children with autism, making such experiences positive and enjoyable for them. 100% recommend and already booked a third appointment .

We have a 4 year old autistic son and James has been cutting his hair for the past 4 months. Haircuts were a nightmare but James has turned it around ! He’s patient and has a great way with him. We are very pleased and it’s not the traumatic experience that we’d had previously

Helpful as normal. This is not your normal barber! These guys sort out errors with cuts others have made. Highly recommended. They may cost more than normal but you pay for you get!

Took my nearly 1 year old for his first hair cut, James was so calm and reassuring with my little boy. This made the experience really good and will be looking forward to going back again
