I paid for a Groupon voucher to get highlights here a couple of years ago and when I arrived the guy slated my hair and tried to convince me to spend something like £200 to “fix it”. I asked for just the highlights and he basically refused and ramped up the comments about how awful my hair was. It just had very old highlights and needed a trim. I wouldn’t have minded him explaining that it needed toning or colour correcting etc but he just made me feel like my hair was really ugly and like I couldn’t fix it unless I sold my kidney. He cancelled the voucher and I cringe every time I go past the salon to this day. EDIT: turns out it was 6 years ago after checking my emails for the Groupon, time flies.
Best hairdresser ever! Consistently the best quality cut, honest innovative styling advice and the most experienced colourist. In a city full of salons this one is the best.

I made an appointment 3 hours before the time, over the phone and when I arrived for my appointment the hair salon was closed and 2 other women were also waiting there saying the salon had been closed for their appointments too. I called the owner multiple times and left a message, he never got back to me and I managed to get an appointment at slix salon which was luckily amazing.
Where do I start..the young lady who washed my hair was so polite and courteous...asking if water was right temp etc...then along came Kevin!!! All I can say is where has this man been for most of my life...after a total transformation of hair style and some wonderful advice about colour..I can honestly say that I will never go to another hairdresser. Kevin is so funny and extremely professional and talented that I cant recommend him enough. Thank you Kevin..x
