    First time using Redline, as I was looking for someone relatively local for MOT & wanted somewhere independent but with good reviews. Everything went really smoothly from the booking online through their website, to the dropping off & picking up. Very friendly, helpful staff, & the premises looked modern & clean.     I've been using this garage since 2020, and it was really great until I took my car for an MOT in 2025. My car has had a tow bar installed since 2015, and for 10 years, no one had a problem with it, not even this garage for four years, until 2025, when I failed. The rear registration plate doesn't meet the requirements—it's partially obscured by the detachable tow bar installed at the time of the MOT. (0.1 (d)) 0.1 (d): This specific code in this section indicates that the registration plate doesn't meet the specified requirements. This could mean the plate is the wrong size, shape, font, or color, or has incorrect spacing or characters. I picked up the car just before closing time and asked a gentleman who told me to come back if he removed the towbar. I didn't have the key for the tow bar in the car for a second test, so I drove. The next day after work, I arrived at 4:10 PM, and another gentleman told me it was too late. If someone wants to complain, they'll complain about anything. Nobody explained to me that it had been fine for four years. After our recent experience with this garage, my wife and I decided we should look for something else.

    Very happy with this garage. Had an MOT here in February 2024, work done to all four brakes in March and a service in May. I appreciated the advice given when settling the bills. The squeaking noises from the brakes have gone and since the service my little Hyundai now goes like a rocketship!
