Fantastic experience. I went with my family some of whom had never done an escape room before and it was brilliant. It was challenging but doable and all the little touches from Julia were really lovely. Highly recommend.
We had a really brilliant time at this escape room. Julia was so welcoming and really looked after us. The children (4 boys all around 10 years old) absolutely loved all the games and puzzles in the reception area before we had even started the game they were saying how great it was. The actual escape room was brilliant - theming was great and clues were really cleverly thought out. A really varied arrangement of types of clue and puzzle too. We finished with 4 minutes to spare! I’ve done quite a few escape rooms including several of the bigger budget ones in London etc. and this one definitely holds it own against them. Great value for money. Definitely recommend
This is an absolute must visit for anyone in the area!! We absolutely loved it, The attention to detail here is amazing and some of the puzzles were so much fun to solve. The host (Julia) was also very kind and helpful towards us and even gave us tea and chocolate!
Had a really good time on Monday completing this escape room with literally 8 seconds to spare! Wasn’t sure what to expect having never done anything like it before but both me and my two children fully enjoyed it. It kept my two children who need to be on the go constantly calm and able to be on the go constantly rushing about to find clues and figure parts out. There were definitely some nice unexpected parts as well. Would definitely recommend to others. The host was lovely and helped when we needed it. Thank you :)
Had such an amazing time in the escape room, the reviews really live up to it. Our time was 1hour 12minutes, see if you can beat us!! The lady who runs it is extremely kind and has 7 years experience. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for a great time.
Fantastic escape room! Amazing puzzles and really good fun! The woman running the escape room was so lovely. Even gave my brother a present for his birthday! All round great experience really recommend! - Update we completed the new escape room and it was just as much fun as the original !
We had such a great time at Escape Room Sussex. We participated in a Christmas-themed escape room which included a chocolate prize, and we were able to select a vegan chocolate option when booking which was a huge bonus for us. Our host Julia was top-tier, so friendly and welcoming and offered us some lovely refreshments (including a fancy vegan hot chocolate!) upon arrival. The escape room itself was really fun and immersive - lots of well thought out activities and puzzles which we all enjoyed. Julia was able to give us some hints and tips if we found something a little too confusing! Overall we really did have the best time. I would definitely recommend Escape Room Sussex over other places to anyone interested in trying an escape room. Thanks again! :) (Cheeky bonus - parking was very easy and convenient - lots of space outside the building!)
We went for an 18th birthday, family of 5 (adults). Julia gave a wonderful, warm welcome to us (and a hot chocolate that was rather delicious). As this was out first time, we opted for some clues, took us a little time to get into the flow but wow what a great experience and tons of fun. It was very cleverly presented, imaginative and did I mention fun. Would absolutely do this again Venue is easy to find, good parking, great communication from Julia, value for money, clean, tidy - well presented, cozy and warm. Thank you for a brilliant 18th birthday morning - all participants enjoyed it very much. I'd say suitable even for fairly young children too
We Escaped! Going into somewhere so rural we did worry if this would be a genuine locked in experience like you see in horror films but thankfully this was a beautiful and well made puzzle room with lots to see and do! We've seen Escape Room Sussex several times as we have driven past and reminded ourselves to try it. Yesterday, we finally did! This asian myth inspired adventure is full of clever, home made, puzzles - a couple of which I've never seen before. The theme is beautifully realized and the host was welcoming, provided free refreshments, and told us a lovely story to bookend the experience. We did this room with two people new to escape rooms and we are both fairly experienced. Together there were bits each of us solved and each of us were bewildered by! This is up there with the best of them and I really recommend it.
