   Unacceptable to pay £50 a month to use equipment in this kind of condition. All machines also seem pretty old and break / are out of order all the time

   I have serious concerns about the way children and families are treated at Lewes Leisure Centre (Wave Active). Over time, I’ve observed multiple incidents that point to poor safeguarding, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and a lack of basic respect from staff. Although these concerns were raised with the facility, no meaningful effort was made to resolve them. This environment does not feel safe, inclusive, or professional. Parents should think carefully before sending their children here.

   I’ve been taking my 2 year old for swimming lessons and my 10 year old for roller skating on Saturday. The pool changing rooms are always clean and I love how sunny and well lit the pool area is. I was also surprised by how fast the water slide is. So much fun. The roller skating is really fun as well and I like how they rotate the DJs week to week.

   Nice pool for swimming lessons but my kids were absolutely freezing while in the water and blue when they came out. Many other kids looked the same. It's enough to make my kids not want to go back and they love swimming. Please turn the heat up.

   Perfectly fine for swim and gym. Reasonable price, nice staff, clean facilities. Missed out on a star because its overall a little tired; the showers are old, hairdryers broken- generally just needs a bit of love and attention. Brilliant for the price and does the job though

   Flume not open even though was told it would be when enquiring before arranging to go. Short staffed apparently but can see this in previous reviews so probably just routine. Went at 9am so you’d think it would be clean. Absolutely filthy pool with black mould and ingrained dirt. Cool water. No toddler pool during family swim. One vacant and disinterested lifeguard. Filthy showers some of which don’t work properly. Filthy changing rooms with hair and engrained dirt. Lots of broken lockers, broken signs hanging off the walls in the pool area. Lockers held up by a plank of wood as the looked like they were keeling over. Absolutely rank and disappointing for the kids. Oh and you need to bring your own padlock for the lockers! Grim. Won’t be going back.

   Great leisure centre. Yes its a bit tired in places but the staff are great. The reception team couldn't be more helpful and swimming teachers are amazing. Clean pools and changing areas. Why over the odds for private swimming lessons for your children when they will be taught better at your local pool? We travel there from Hove. Lots of parking. Highly recommended.
