First time being treated by Nico de Lange and very glad he has joined the practice. My treatment was explained in full and carried out perfectly. I would have no hesitation in him providing my future dental treatment.
I was a returning patient from pre Covid and was extremely nervous from a bad experience in hospital many years ago . I was treated with respect and made to feel at ease while having a filling , knowing I was listened to about my worry’s made me feel at ease and the whole experience was fine. I think the stress toy helped too! Thank you for looking after me
Just so kind and calming! I have a phobia of the dentist at the best of times and this year has been a tough one - so to find I needed a tooth extraction due to a stupid wisdom tooth wasn't great. Definitely the worst panic for a while - but Nelson and Natasha were so kind and amazing! They were reassuring, supportive and explained everything - checked everything and I was so grateful! I really cannot thank them enough for their kindness and support which made such a difference. They are both brilliant at what they do and made a very challenging situation a lot more bearable. Thank you so much! Can't recommend them enough. Would give 6 out of 5 if I could!
Having had tooth ache since June and treatment from a different practice, I finally got to see Nelson. I had become very nervous , but after treatment yesterday from Nelson, I have woke up this morning pain free and so much happier. He talked me through treatment and totally helped me relax. More treatment on this tooth to come, but I feel more relaxed going forward. Cannot thank and praise Nelson enough. Top man
Very satisfied with course of treatment. Was kept fully informed at all stages of treatment, which was carried out extremely professionally. Excellent end result. Louie is the best dentist I have had.
This company is utterly terrible I took my son many times because he had a cracked tooth and they kept filling them telling me they were baby teeth and they will fall out soon I went to a different dentist who done xrays and the so call baby teeth were adult teeth and he has now got to go to the hospital to have them removed
I would have given 5 stars in the past, but today’s experience as a patient of over 20 years was disappointing after losing a crown: yesterday I was told to call 8.30 a, so I could be fitted in. I did, but as I had not enrolled on their private system - no NHS anymore - the dentist did not want to see me.
The credibility of the dentist is now damaged, they cancelled my NHS check up 2 years running due to short staff and now send me a letter saying they are going private. In the letter it says if you have a booking before October 14th it will go ahead yet they've cancelled them all. There's no assurance that any future checkups won't get cancelled because of short staff. Nelson is a good dentist now tarnished by this fiasco. Really not happy. Their new Dental plan is questionable too. Shop around.
They didn't inform me they had kicked me off their register since before COVID due to missing appointment, they will see my 4 year old but not me so I will have to drag 4 year old and baby to a far away dentist for myself, that's if I ever get seen due to not having applied for waiting lists because I thought I was registered here. I always found the dentists to be rude here as well. Not sure if they are one big rude family but the rude ones have South African accents.
I was a patent of Gary Thornton for many years and was concerned when he moved into private only work. As things turned out my misgivings were unnecessary, my dentist and his nurse couldn't have been more professional, they put me at ease and answered any questions I asked. The whole procedure was without pain and I experienced only minor discomfort. I would recommend this practice without hesitation.
