   Having read some of the reviews I was apprehensive of visiting this surgery, especially being phobic and needing some extra understanding... but, I have to say, I've not had a bad experience here. Granted, I've only had a check up, a Hygienist appoinment and a couple of extractions thus far, but it has been really pleasant, and I've been made to feel at ease every step. The whole team have been great, professional, and I am looking forward to restoring my smile with them going forward! Due to a lack of funding throughout the country, they cannot offer NHS, but are very upfront with costs of treatments. They do care. So far so good, and I'm happy I decided to return here!

   AVOID USING THIS DENTIST(even in an emergency)!! I needed an emergency appointment so stupidly accepted an appointment and let them take a £50 deposit over the phone, before I checked their reviews. It was obvious I was in a lot of pain as a filling had come out so food was getting in the tooth, but from the moment I walked in the room the woman was quite rude in her approach and barely looked at my tooth before she said she would need to take an x-ray. She got annoyed with me because I gagged and so had to do it again. She injected into my mouth a couple of times and said that it should help with the pain, but after a couple of minutes I told her that all that had happened was the whole of the side of my face and lips were numb but around the tooth didn't feel any different. She said after looking at the x-ray that I would need either root canal or an extraction but in the meantime wanted to give me a prescription of Amoxicillin for £25. I asked her why was it £25 when a prescription is less than £10, she simply said do you want it or not? Clearly they were just making money. I decided to leave without a prescription and told her that it had been a complete waste of time. I had to pay a further £20 for the x-ray and simply went to the walk in centre to get a prescription for Amoxicillin. Over the last couple of days I have developed bruising from where she injected me, which is something I have never experienced from a dentist visit before. I would definitely not recommend using this dentist!!

   Can’t fault the receptionist’s but the actual women that my daughter saw was vile, rude and just arrogant. First time I’ve been to this place and will be the last. She needed a check up and was brutal, considering this was my daughter first time in many years you could say that she’s not wanting to go back anytime soon. She was more interested in what her lifestyle was like and what she ate and drank than anything else and giving me a lecture. Started doing a procedure before asking if I was even happy to pay for it. Women literally did not care,

   Worst dental experience ever, never had so much pain from routine work, after checkup jaw numb and unable to bite on for 4 months due to nerve damaged caused during a checkup. De scale teeth, nearly walk out half way in so much pain.When questioned the dentist the response was nonchalant and uncaring.when I said I may take it further all I got was a shrug, But happy to charge excessive amount. The dentist is a butcher.

   Would not recommend anyone to come here for a check up. I was in the chair for a few minutes, the dentist opened my mouth and looked inside, took two X rays and sent me off. She didn't check any of my gums or individual teeth, unlike any dentist experience I've had before. They rang me to move my appointment forward so I imagine the dentist wanted to leave early and was quick to have me out. She couldn't even make time to clean my teeth which was recommended, awful service... Feel like I have been scammed and still unsure about the health of my teeth so I will have to rebook somewhere else.

   Absolutely disgusting practice so unprofessional and rude I most certainly will not be attending here again offered me a position to then take it away and made me drive all the way out to them just to tell me they can't offer me a position the day before training. Never have I ever been treated so badly in dental nursing! Not surprised there's no permanent nurse .

   Extremely helpful and very friendly as well as efficient service from Dr Joanna Ciesielska! Will definitely go to Rockwood Dental Practice again, it’s much better than all previous experiences I’ve had with other dentists so would highly recommend.
