I attended a private function on the first floor. Everywhere was clean, tea and coffee flowed. Good choice if Joules beer. Friendly service. The bar down stairs had an inviting atmosphere. Quite convenient for the Station with trains to Stoke and Stafford.

Went today for a team Christmas lunch. It wasn’t overly busy so we were served efficiently. Everyone enjoyed their food, there was plenty to get round after a few orders of the light bites and the Christmas dinners looked excellent. We didn’t bother with puddings so can’t comment but what we saw coming out looked decent. Special mention to Jack for being attentive and looking after us and his photography skills! Will definitely return especially during the summer as such a great location and n the canal.

I had a really disappointing experience here on the 8th December. Me and my friend ordered the 'Gobble till you Wobble' burger that comes with fried turkey, veg, stuffing and a sausage patty on it. it was Β£19 which is expensive for a burger but for the amount of food, we were willing to pay. We got half way through the burgers when we realised that there was only fried turkey and veg on it. You can see this clearly from the photo. I spoke to a staff member who said they had ran out of stuffing and gave us a sausage patty and one extra pigs in blanket to make up for it. As you can see from the photo, the 'sausage patty' was about 2cm big and didn't even cover half of the burger I had left. For Β£19 to serve us a burger with half the ingredients on it when they know they've ran out is atrocious. It wasn't cheap and what they gave us to apologise did not make up for it. My friend also told me her turkey was tough and dry, so the elements that were on the burger weren't even good. I would have rather the staff were honest when they realised the lack of ingredients and asked us to pick something else. It's such a shame because the venue is lovely but it's really put me off coming back here again and I wouldn't recommend others to eat here.

A brilliant vibrant canal side pub, only down side is you can’t moor up outside, but definitely worth a visit and very dog friendly. Great food and beer.

Excellent service. I am gluten free. They provided me with specific cutlery. The manager came to me to tell me what would be missing off my plate such as the Yorkshire pudding. I also had gluten free gravy. The meal was worth every penny.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING........ Joules brewery should be awarded for this pub , only nipped in for a few drinks and we were bowled over by the sheer size and quality of this museum like pub like stepping back in time , enormous bar . A few months later we returned for food on a Saturday 5:30 and it was absolutely heaving ,dance music blaring it felt like a completely different place , not complaining by the way and the food was okay ,If your after a fine dining experience this isn't the place . Overall though this is still the best pub around for miles ,in my opinion

Absolutely beautiful place, so many interesting facts on the walls its like being in a museum and walking around with a beer, perfect. The architecture is amazing, done such a brilliant with all the small details and the whole place. Food was spot on and the staff were friendly and seemed happy to be there, also with how many people were on the bar there was never a wait to be seen, I don't give 5 stars very often but they got this place bang on well done crown wharf. It's a must visit for everyone close and far
