   I was very anxious to give my grandma’s furniture for a renovation. Paul, Tony and the rest of the team done an amazing job with hand stripping pain from all the ornaments. They went an extra mile to add missing bits so the furniture is back to its glory. I can highly recommend their services.

   Fantastic service. The doors look amazing. Friendly, quick service. These guys bend over backwards to help you out with your project. Quick, reasonably priced and friendly (over the phone and in person). A fantastic business that I have used a couple of times now and will continue to recommend them.

   Absolutely terrible. They collected 8 solid pine doors to be stripped. Delivery was meant to be one week, they called to say there was a problem with the stripping that it needed more dipping. Brought the doors back after 3 weeks. They looked as if a machete had demolished the grains. I didn’t argue paid them continued to sand them back for days and then had them painted. Came to for them and they did not fit on the frames. They were all expanded and warped. I called and told them asking them for them to send someone to put the door back on and that since it was their fault I will not be paying for it. They said fine gave me an appointment with a carpenter who came after two weeks saying he would put the doors back but not the handles and handed me a bill if £240. After I had paid £270 for a job that was a total disaster. They were not at all helpful. Honestly I would advise not to be working with them. Their response was it’s int he T & C ‘s which they did show me or tell me about. I only saw that after 4 weeks when I called to ask about a receipt of the work down. Saying the doors can expand due to the jet washing being done/ why didn’t they mention that before. I intend to report. They are not fit to do a proper job.

   Back to the Grain stripped the paint from two of our Victorian pine doors. We are so happy with the results as they look amazing now. I’m so glad we decided to use them. The staff were also really helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

   The team at BTTG stripped back, sanded, cleaned and clear finished 5 doors, which had been coated with stain and 30+ years of wax polish. The doors came back to life and were delivered finished after two weeks, which was acceptable in exceptional times with exceptional weather. After popping into the shop and luckily catching Tony first time, we came away about an hour later knowing that we could leave the job in very capable hands. From pickup through delivery to after-care and advice, all those we met at BTTG were friendly, helpful, and professional. Would I use BTTG again? Definitely. The yard is also full of furniture-shaped wood looking to be bought.

   Paul and the team from BTTG were excellent to deal with throughout the process. Responsive, flexible when we wanted to paint the door frames, etc and extremely professional. The finish on the 3 internal doors the team carried out is exceptional. The on site team were quick, really polite and friendly and cleaned up - a rarity!! Would recommend and use again for sure.

   Has a wood paint/stain stripping service and workshop with a varied range of used/refurbished pine furniture. Worth a visit if you are looking for a period piece. Extensive range of old doors as well. Friendly service.
