I don't usually give out one stars but this place is absolute shambles. Security guard absolutely rude and would rather chat up the workers than do his job, someone needs to sort him out. staff are like zombies they don't seem to know what they're doing and would rather walk around the store doing nothing than serve customers but somehow they all appear to gossip. I come here at least once a month and it's always the same problem it's ridiculous. Just shop elsewhere don't bother here.

I shop at this Tesco fairly often, mainly because it's the closest one to me, not because it's particularly good. Every visit feels like a new episode of "What basic item will they be out of today?" From everyday seasonings to frozen veg, the shelves often seem to be missing the most obvious things. A few weekends ago, during a hot spell, I spotted packs of meat just lounging out in the aisle like they were sunbathing. They were still there 15 minutes later when I left, and from the look of things, they'd been there for a while before that. Not exactly what you want to see when you're buying food. Hopefully, they start taking food safety a bit more seriously before someone ends up with more than just a dodgy dinner. And don’t even get me started on the self checkouts. If you need ID verified or the weight is off by a gram, prepare to stand there awkwardly while two staff members juggle the whole store and a security guard stares into the void. The prices are eye watering too, but I suppose that’s the joy of a convenience store. All in all, it’s Tesco, just not at its finest.

Understaffed, they are constantly shutting the place because they need to take in deliveries but don't have the adequate staff to do so. The ones that are working dont pay any attention to customer service, tills are unavailable for long periods of time. In the cash till, you'll be waiting 15 mins for a staff member to come and serve you.

It’s a pleasant store, but it appears to be severely understaffed. The staff appear perpetually miserable, like zombies wearing Tesco uniforms. They detest their jobs and never carry their own bags through self-checkout. Occasionally, there aren’t any carrier bags available, which can be quite frustrating if you’re in a hurry and the store is crowded. In such situations, the staff either hide in the back or are on the other side of the store. One security guard seems reasonable, but the newer ones simply stare at you when you’re looking at meal deals. Overall, it’s a nice store, but the staff’s perpetual misery is a major drawback, as I’ve never seen them smile once.

Well stocked and clean. Perfect place to get a meal deal before boarding a train and to avoid the overpriced whsmith in the train station.

Good shop in a great location with polite staff and security. The only problem is that some stuff is more expensive than the same product in big Tesco, and the meal deals are low on stock after 10am

Staff do not look you in face when talking to you. This is a problem as I have hearing loss and need to be able to lip read what a person is saying as my hearing aids do not always pick up what a person is saying.

Great place if you need something quick and don't want to go to the big super store

Good range of items and good prices. This Tesco Express in Swansea is in a landmark teal building. It looks great.
