Beautiful displays of beautiful shoes and boots. Staff very friendly but not at all pushy. However, it's very difficult to resist buying something! Only visit if you have immense willpower!
Dropped in too look at some driving shoes whilst passing , which i bought very reasonably priced as the sale was on . Lovely chap who runs the shop . Great shoes and boots at very good prices at the outlet .
Me and my partner purchased 1 pair of shoes and 1 pair of boots recently, both pairs were seconds. We were shown why the shoes were seconds and there were no pushy sales tactics, which is rare nowadays! We were allowed to shop in our own time, but there was someone there to help if needed. We visited the shop on a Saturday afternoon. The tall, young Asian gentleman (I am so sorry that I forgot his name) was very helpful and polite. He really knew his stuff when it came to sizes and styles etc. We were so grateful of his help. We both usually struggle to find shoes that fit due to having wide feet- no issues at all with Cheaneys! The shop has recently been refurbished and looks good. The photos on the wall of the staff who actually make the shoes was a very nice touch. I think we forget just how skilled they must be.

In my humble opinion now Northamptonshire’s Premier Shoe and Boot Maker and I am proud to say that for almost 30 years I have worn nothing else . A great Factory Shop staffed by three decent informative gentlemen , knowledgable and keen to answer any questions , what more could you want ? I tend to just order online and more often than not I have them next day . It’s a wonderful Product and a first class delivery service . I can’t thank the Company enough for my latest pair of Hurricane Boots , I don’t believe I could buy better quality anywhere . Till next time thanks all

Absolutely awful shopping experience. Bought over £70 of shoe care items and was handed them over loose. Even other local shops I visited that day could not believe that I was just handed the items from such a well known local outlet. No bag or any care taken what so ever. If the assistant had thought about what I'd bought, he could of made a recommendation in buying the travel shoe care kit as I'd ask if smaller brushes were available to go with the shoe polish and shoe horn. Felt the service given was just about the sell factor and no customer service. Will not be returning. I will continue with loake shoes and accessories .
Found a pair of end-of-line boots at a big discount. Great service. I understand that hand made Engish shoes are beyond the budget for many people, especially at this time, but please try to support the domestic shoe manufacturers, if you can. Don't buy them just because they are British; Buy them because they are better, last longer and are not disposable fast-fashion items.
Parking is excellent, not something that all the factory shops have. The staff in there shop were polite, non pushy but informative which is what suits me. Apparently, the range on offer was less than normal as my visit was just at the tail end of the Christmas sale but I still found a pair of shoes at a bargain price. Normal retail £360, down to £140. I've just sent in a pair of Church's for refurbishment which will cost that.
